  • Cosy fully equipped yurts at a 15-acre farm in the Wye Valley
  • A 10-minute drive from Tintern; 20 minutes to Puzzle Wood
  • Firepit, barbecue and outdoor kitchen; dogs welcome
Totally immersed in the gorgeous scenery of the Wye Valley National Landscape, and totally cosy and comfortable as well… glamping at Hill Farm Tintern is likely to be a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. Stays here are in smart off-grid yurts spaced well apart and with fabulous views over the surrounding scenery. A firepit and barbecue are provided for alfresco evenings, and once the sun goes down you can retreat to your yurt to look up into the skies through the transparent stargazer window in the ceiling. That’s just one of the lovely features of the fully furnished accommodation – each yurt also has a woodburner, proper beds and kitchen kit including a gas stove and all the crockery, pans and cutlery you should need for your meals. Plenty of handy touches have been provided here, in fact – from the bed linen and towels through to the cleaning kit (washing-up kit, tea towels, antibacterial wipes and the like). It's worth noting that this is a remote location, so you’ll need to bring things like torches, plus all the food and drink you need. Each yurt has its own outdoor kitchen area and has access to a communal fridge/freezer and cool box. Other shared facilities include USB charging points, compost toilets (close to the yurts) and a bathroom block with showers and flushing toilets. Getting out to see your surroundings may well start with a stroll around the 15-acre farm; after that, there are heaps of walks, bike rides and lovely attractions to visit around Tintern (10 minutes’ drive) and the wider Wye Valley.
