Liked: Amazing little campsite, Christine was lovely very welcoming and the facilities were great toilets lovely and clean lovely walks around for our family and dog, there is a pub less than 5 minute walk away but i would suggest booking a table in advance as they couldn’t serve us, there is a village shop and cafe around 1 mins walk overall lovely stay in our campervan and will definitely return

Liked: Me and partner stayed with a 16yr old. Checked in quickly the owner was lovely. We had two small tents. Explained everything. Got see the sheep passing threw our field we pitched in. Lovely walks near by. Shower block , toilets blocks nice and clean. Would definitely return, and recommend.

Disliked: Nothing to dislike. Massive fields, Lovley walks. Clean shower blocks and toilets fresh running water.

Liked: The field is large, quiet and has beautiful views all around. The main shower and wash block is very well-equipped and was always spotless. It is also really handy having another set of toilets in the main camping field, as it really cuts down on the nighttime trek to the bathroom! Christine is very helpful and friendly and everything is set up with clear signage, lots of space to get in, park, etc., and plenty of drinking water points.

Disliked: We got caught out by a storm, but that isn't the campsite's fault. Everything in their control was great and we would definitely consider staying again.

Liked: We were welcomed by the owner cutting her grass. She literally never stops and the camp site illustrated just this! Beautiful scenery, amazingly kept grounds, clean, tidy and well marked out signs and wat marks. We have had a great few nights, very windy but this weather was freak ans unexpected. If you do visit be sure to take a drove on Horseshoe Pass and visit Llangollen.

Liked: I was made to feel very welcome by the owners and the facilities were well kept. A lovely site, convenient for Offa’s Dyke. Llandegla has a friendly community shop and cafe and regular buses to Wrexham and Ruthin.

Liked: Warm welcome on arrival and plenty of info provided. Site was quite with it been a Sunday so we pitched by the river in the 1st field close to the great facilities. Very convenient campsite for the bike trails at Llandeglla and only a short stroll to the local pub.

Disliked: If camping in the 1st field you are close to the main road which even on a Sunday was busy and noisy until late.

Where might a five-minute drive get you? To fisheries, Llandegla Laser Combat and the Fauxdegla Shooting Ground for quick entertainment, perhaps. Llangollen (15 minutes' drive) is tempting too, whether for steam train trips and horse-drawn canal boats over the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct or festivals like the International Musical Eisteddfod, Llangollen Food Festival and Llangollen Fringe Festival. For urban action, Bala (35 minutes) is a historic market town with watersports activities and the Vale of Clwyd (from 15 minutes) has more historic market towns, including Ruthin, Denbigh and St Asaph. Admission is only permitted after registering at reception.
At least one of the party members must be aged 18 or over.

Barbecues are permitted but must be raised off the ground and attended by an adult at all times.

Bookings are nominative and non-transferable.

Vehicles

Commercial vehicles (vehicles used for work-related purposes, carrying goods or fare-paying passengers) and sign-written vehicles are not permitted on site.

Dogs

Dogs are prohibited from main facilities and amenities.
Dogs must be kept on leads and supervised at all times.

Safety

Firearms are not permitted.

Occupancy

Group bookings of 4 or more adults are not permitted (couples and immediate family members excepted).
