What customers say
A grand spot, grand views, and grand owners too. Facilities are grandly clean, if a bit old-fashioned. Popular with families and those seeking peace. Some noise from the road and the toilets/showers combined. Improvements are on the way!

⭐ 1/5 — The least relaxing…
Electric optional grass pitch
Liked ⭐ 1/5 — The least relaxing camping experience imaginable
Where do I even begin? If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming campsite where you can relax with your family, this probably isn’t the place for you.
On arrival, there was no obvious or clearly marked reception area, so we were left wondering where we were actually supposed to go. When we eventually encountered the owner, there was certainly no warm welcome — apparently the introduction consisted of the card machine coming out. Very charming. Nothing says “welcome to our campsite” quite like being treated like a contactless transaction.
The campsite itself feels less like a proper campsite and more like someone has decided to put a few electric hook-ups in their garden and charge people to sleep there. And unfortunately, the toilets and showers were absolutely disgusting. I’m not sure when they last received a proper clean, but I definitely didn’t want to investigate further.
But the facilities weren’t even the worst part.
The attitude towards our children was appalling. We came away feeling like we were an inconvenience rather than paying guests.
Then came the final straw.
The owner came over to our tent shouting and carrying on, which obviously startled our little dog. She jumped out of the tent and started barking at her. The response? Screaming at us to “get your dog on a lead!”
Our dog had literally just been startled into jumping out because you had come over to our tent shouting and screaming. But apparently the dog was the problem. 🙃
At that point we decided we’d had enough. We were meant to stay another night, but packed up and left a day early because we simply didn’t feel comfortable being there.
Imagine paying money to go camping and instead spending your time feeling like you’re being reprimanded in someone else’s back garden.
We certainly won’t be returning. You couldn’t pay us to go back.
There are plenty of campsites where the owners actually understand the concept of hospitality and treat families like paying customers rather than an inconvenience.
One star because zero isn’t an option. ⭐️
Disliked ⭐ Things we absolutely loved about this campsite ⭐
* The reception area — because apparently a clearly marked reception is far too much to ask.
* The warm welcome — nothing says hospitality quite like being greeted with a card machine and an attitude. 💳
* The campsite itself — basically someone’s garden with a few electric hook-ups thrown in and a price tag attached.
* The owner’s customer service — aggressive, confrontational and seemingly allergic to basic manners.
* The treatment of children — because apparently children enjoying themselves on a campsite is an unreasonable expectation.
* The uncovered washing-up area — ideal if you enjoy washing your dishes while battling whatever weather Britain decides to throw at you. 🌧️
* The toilets — wonderfully dark, miserable and, most importantly, absolutely disgusting. 💩
* The showers — another experience best described as “use at your own risk”.
* The open chemical waste area — because nothing says “family-friendly holiday” quite like having waste facilities openly on display.
* The relaxing atmosphere — assuming your idea of relaxation is waiting for the next telling-off.
* The dog-friendly approach — particularly enjoyable when the owner approaches your tent shouting, scares your dog, your dog jumps out and barks, and then somehow you’re the one being screamed at to put the dog on a lead. 🐕
* The communication style — apparently shouting is the preferred method of customer service.
* The feeling of being welcome — completely absent.
* The decision to stay an extra night — fortunately, we came to our senses and left a day early.
* The likelihood of returning — approximately zero percent.
* Would we recommend it? — Only if you particularly enjoy paying to be uncomfortable, shouted at and wondering whether the facilities have ever seen a cleaning product.
Overall: ⭐ 1/5
The only positive thing we can say is that leaving a day early meant we got to go home sooner. 🏕️

From the manager: Sadly your lies miss out the disgusting way you and your children behaved on my property. When I first welcomed you I could hear your children shouting and swearing at you from a distance away. Your dog doing the toilet beside other peoples tent is awful and yes I asked you put your dog on the lead. Your children then went on to damage the play area, to destroy my fruit trees and to block the campsite toilets with gravel. Not one word of apology from any of you when I spoke to you. This damage was all done when everyone else had gone off the site for the day.
You are now barred from using any site on pitch up.

Great site for families. Has all you need and lovely owner
Electric optional gravel pitch
Liked Text morning of arrival explaining check in, pitch location, shower and toilet location ect. 2 different camping fields, 2 showers with toilets so ideal for families with small children and a second block outside the other field. Owner came to collect payment and had a good chat with us. Owner was really lovely. Kids loved watching the wild rabbits and seeing the sheep and horses. Dog loved a good run in the enclosed dog field too.
I was a little reserved after reading some reviews but the negative reviews are certainly not justified at all. The site has everything you need and a brilliant atmosphere. People had said the road was noisy but we had 2 pitches between us and non of us really noticed any noise except the tractors in the daytime. Others complained long waits for toilets but not once did any of us encounter a wait. Best part for me was NO WiFi so the kids had to play and be kids.
It was a great location with local shops, pub, lovely walks and scenery close by. Lots of room for the kids to play and run around.
Both families had a great stay and we have all said we would happily stay again. Thank you for a lovely week 😘
Disliked Mother nature with her downpours

Electric optional grass pitch
Liked Facilities were perfect, the park was well loved by our children and the dog paddock was a god send when trying to put up the tent without the interference of our four legged friends!
Linda is amazing, such a welcoming and funny lady who was very accommodating. Her animals are awesome too!
Beautiful views of the country side but close enough to the local shops and petrol station for supplies.
Really is a fantastic location with such lovely vibes, we all had the best time for our first stay in Anglesey.
We will be booking our next summer holiday here in no time!
Disliked Absolutely nothing

Great site with great location
Electric optional gravel pitch
Liked We really enjoyed our stay here it feels remote yet isnt, the vives are great, we spent 2 nights alone with one other camper in our field which was amazing for the kids, the location is great for local town/shops and a short drive to beaches. The owner was lovely with us and keeps her site clean and tidy, loved that there was a washer onsite.
Disliked The only downfall to this place is when the field is full the rules arent implemented in the mornings, we was surrounded by 5 dogs all of which barked throughout on and off but the morning noise was horrific, the pitches being close meant any movement/kids going toilet and the morning was met with constant barking, we initially wanted to stay another night however not being able to peacefully leave the tent meant we didnt, I did mention this to the owner but I guess this dislike is with other campers not her.
