Morgana 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: The fact that the van was dog friendly was a major influence on us picking this site. The van was well set out and comfortable. The weather was great which helped with the general atmosphere around site. Easy to reach all of the island and parts of the North Wakes coast.Out of season, the bar was only open on Friday and Saturday evenings but was very welcoming.

Disliked: A little bit untidy around the van which may put some people off. It coud have done with the weed growth being cut back, although the site had their own groundsman he didn't cater for the area around this van.

Liked: Caravan was spacious and clean. Good big TV and communal area with huge sofa. Light and airy. Great to have two bathrooms! Nice outer decking area with table & chairs. Swimming pool was a big hit with my son!

Disliked: Beds in small /twin room were too small and one frame needs replacing. Cooker knob came off in my hand/broke, so needs replacing. Some radiators rusty.

Morgana 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: The caravan was lovely and clean and we appreciated the extra thoughtful bits like hand towels, hand wash, tea towels etc! The boys loved the pool which they had to themselves most of the time! Nice little play area for younger kids and space to play football.

Disliked: Only down side was not being able to walk anywhere from the site; always needed to drive. But, there are lots of places to visit close by.

Arianrhod 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: The caravan was spacious enough for the 5 of us for a 2 night stay. But not for longer. The washing up liquid, pan scrub, dish cloth and tea towel a nice touch.

Disliked: The radiator in the bathroom was rusty Television in twin room didn't work No light bulb or light cover on , in the en suite toilet room Cracked and bashed unit under the television in lounge No lightbulb in reading light in main bedroom The whole caravan park is dated, shabby and doesn't look like its looked after.

Morgana 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: Caravan was spotless, modern had everything we needed. Morgana

Disliked: On arrival the site looks very scruffy and run down. There is no on site entertainment and the bar/restaurant is only open a few hrs on the sat we were there. The site is quite the outdoor pool was very clean and not busy but apart from that not much to do. It's about a 40 min drive to Trearddur Bay which is lovely beach and a nice restaurant.

Morgana 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: This was our first trip to Anglesey and we loved the island.

Disliked: The caravan was modern with all cooking utensils you could need and was very clean on arrival, there was however a few issues. There is no Internet available at all at the caravan or on the site that we could find a signal for. There is free view on the tv however it uses a little aerial that sits on top of the tv which is very difficult to get a decent signal with. The carpet in the main bedroom was soaked due to a broken catch on the window and so it smelt strongly of damp in there. The site has been allowed to get very run down. The pool is great for the kids but not well maintained and the kids pool had no water in it. There are dogs belonging to the site owners free to wander wherever they like including the football field. The children's park has a number of unsafe broken sections. We would go back to Anglesey but never to this caravan provider or site.

Morgana 2 bedroom static caravan

Liked: Caravan was clean and tidy on arrival. Location is really handy.

Disliked: On arrival to the site we couldn't even get in as dogs were roaming and lying in the road. Finally after about 10 minutes the dogs moved. Was more worried about them being hit by the car or anyone's car, It's quite dangerous to allow that to happen. I had no information on how to actually get to the caravan. No contact from the owner at all. So I managed to find someone on site. She rung up the owner as she said it's got nothing to do with her as the caravans are privately owned. We then got given a code to get into the caravan for the key. In the bedroom cupboards there is just an odd smell so we didn't use them for our clothes. No blanket or pillow for our oldest son who was going to sleep on a futon in the main living area. So we had to get one for him from the shop in to town. TV is really small and no TVs in any of the other rooms. Ventilation is very poor so the caravan gets very room and condensation goes on the windows. A fan or something like this would of helped alot. The site is quiet and had no problems with noise and the people were friendly to the ones we spoken with. But it's also needs alot of TLC, To me it's run down. To say there is a restaurant on site is an over statement as it was never open the 2 nights we was there. Glad we brought our own food. Very disappointed with the site.

Liked: Clean caravan Everything we needed, air fryer! Bonus. The landlord was available and quick to respond to concerns. Very close to Benllech.

Disliked: No Internet, whilst we can live without Internet my daughter is revising for her GCSEs and brought her laptop as we thought there would be Internet. The springs on the bed where a bit spikey in the smaller rooms.

Local attractions

The golden stretch of Benllech Bay (10 minutes’ drive) is just the job for sand-castle building, swimming, fishing, sailing and windsurfing, so you’re sure to find something to do among all those options. If hiking is your thing, lace up your boots and yomp the Isle of Anglesey Coastal Path, accessed right by Benllech Beach, and keep a look out for dolphins frisking in the Irish Sea waves (especially around Bull Bay) as you stroll. Favourite family days out on Anglesey include feeding the goats, sheep and donkeys at Foel Farm Park (25 minutes), where you can also take tractor rides to meet the placid Shire horses. There are more animal antics to be had at Pili Palas Nature World (15 minutes), a treasure trove of creepy crawlies, butterflies and meerkats. Sneak a bit of history into your holiday schedule with a visit to medieval St Mary’s Church (half an hour), all that remains of the former village of Tal-y-Llyn, which was wiped out by the Black Death in 1349. You can also take self-guided tours of moated Beaumaris Castle (20 minutes), an impressive 13th-century landmark overlooking the Menai Strait.
