Local attractions

Tre'r Ceiri Hillfort - Few prehistoric sites capture the imagination as powerfully as Tre'r Ceiri hillfort which dominates the Llyn Peninsula from the easternmost summit of the three-peaks of Yr Eifl. Looking down from a scree-strewn summit at a height of 485m O.D., Tre'r Ceiri is one of the best preserved Iron Age hillforts in Britain where round houses, gateways and ramparts can be seen in a remarkably intact condition. Nant Gwrtheyrn - Nant Gwrtheyrn is a truly magical place tucked away on the rugged Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales, nestled between dramatic cliffs and the Irish Sea. It’s a former quarrying village that has been beautifully restored and now serves as a renowned Welsh Language Centre—but it’s more than that. It feels like a hidden world, completely cut off from the hustle of modern life. Abersoch - Abersoch is situated on the Llyn Peninsula in North Wales and has become a very popular village seaside resort. Great beaches, internationally recognised sailing waters, pleasant climate and beautiful scenery, all set in the heartland of the Welsh language provide a special combination. Porth Ysgaden - Porth Ysgaden is a small, peaceful cove on the northern coast of the Llŷn Peninsula, tucked away between Tudweiliog and Porthdinllaen. It’s one of those secret, out-of-the-way places that locals cherish and visitors stumble upon and never forget.
