Families, couples, small groups, solo travellers, dog owners… there’s a warm Welsh welcome – and a good dose of peace and quiet – for all guests at this small site on the Llŷn Peninsula. In a rural location about 15 minutes’ drive from Pwllheli, Tyn on the Llyn Campsite is a small, scenic and peaceful site with gorgeous views of the surrounding landscapes, particularly at sunset. Being well away from any urban light pollution, there’s often also some spectacular stargazing to be done here on clear nights. Just the thing for some time spent appreciating the power of nature… To help preserve this fantastic location, facilities here are as eco-friendly as possible, with compost toilets, renewable energy and recycling facilities all in place. There’s also a wifi service, a covered communal seating area and a washing-up area with possibly one of the best views you’ve ever had while tackling the suds. Pwllheli is a handy source of shops and places to eat, and it’s also home to a three-mile stretch of beach that’s great for a family day out. There are more beaches nearby too: long sandy stretches, hidden coves and west-facing beaches with big waves for the surfers. As well as all that, there are various outdoor activities including watersports and mountain biking close by, and a whole lot of excellent historic attractions. The closest of these, at a few minutes’ drive, is Tre'r Ceiri Hillfort, known as one of the UK’s best-preserved Iron Age hillforts.

A aimé Loved the site very much. Facilities were cleaned regularly. Also loved the communal area where we could charge our devices. The owner Jamie was very friendly and helpful! Pitches are nice and levelled and huge! We will deffenetly come back!

A aimé Absolutely fantastic site set in the rural area just outside of Morfa Nefyn, with stunning views and sunsets, tranquil and peaceful mornings and evenings and very little in the way of noise.

If you are looking for no music, no rowdy groups and pure peace and quiet, this is for you!

Hot showers, clean and useful communal cooking area and 2 well kept and clean compost loos, absolutely everything you need + plus a fridge to share and free use of charging points, amazing!

A aimé Great set up of showers and compost toilets. The covered kitchen and tables for eating are excellent, and I'm sure much appreciated in the rain. (We had lovely sunny weather). The owner Jamie was so very helpful; he took the time to explain how the campsite functions, where to visit locally and was always available on site if you needed anything.
The location is perfect for "getting away from it all". Great views, wonderful sunsets and the peace of the countryside. Highly recommend!

A aimé Such a wonderful stay. The location is perfect for visiting so many wonderful areas. The campsite is so quiet and relaxing. It has everything you could want from excellent showers to extremely private large pitches. The views are spectacular looking over to the ancient iron age fort. The owner is so so helpful and keeps the campsite immaculate. We have never stayed at a campsite so quiet it was pure peace. We will be returning
