Hardstanding and grass pitches

  • Well-kept family campsite with Eryri mountain views in Gwynedd
  • Dinas Dinlle Beach, Caernarfon and Gypsy Wood Park 10 minutes’ drive
  • Dog-friendly, spacious pitches at a peaceful farm with cattle on site
If your remit is proximity to Eryri National Park and plenty of room for the kids to run around, Ty'n Rhos Farm Caravan Park in rural Gwynedd is the site for you. Super-spacious grass and hardstanding pitches have stunning views to the peaks of Eryri (20 minutes’ drive), and are set around the perimeter of a two-acre camping field, leaving the centre open for recreational use and exercising any dogs. The site is set on a family-run beef and dairy farm with a free-range herd; the milk is sold to produce Welsh cheese and butter. Amenities for guests include showers with ample hot water, a washing-up room and a freezer pack service; barbecues are welcome but there are a couple of pubs and takeaways in Bontnewydd (10 minutes) if you’re not a lover of alfresco cooking. Ty'n Rhos Farm is 10 minutes’ drive from the historic royal town of Caernarfon and its impressive castle, and within easy distance of the Llŷn Peninsula, Eryri and Anglesey for family days out. You can be on Dinas Dinlle Beach, walking along the estuary at Y Foryd or pedalling along the Lôn Eifion Cycleway within 10 minutes too.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch

Liked Everything!!!
The people were absolutely wonderful and so friendly o have never met nicer people in my life.
The toilets were cleaner than any toilets ive ever been to and there was a shower there too which was free to use, some places charge bit this place does not.
The views ate so beautiful
The ground was clean and taken care of. This place is near to everything you could want to see in North Wales.
We travelled up spur of the moment and I'm so glad that we did.
All the kid are asking when we can go back, trust me it won't be long until we book again!
Thankyou for a wonderful stay.

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Everything. I can't possibly fault this campsite. Lovely welcoming couple and greeted by a very friendly dog. The Lovely lady guided me to where I should pitch my tent and explained everything.

The campsite we found to be so peaceful, no noise, just relaxing. The toilets and shower is very clean. The campsite all went quiet around 9pm, even in the morning still quiet, I wanted to move in! I loved watching the cows and the occasional tractor.

Easy to find with the sat nav, a short drive from a Tesco (10 minutes and a petrol station). We drove to Conway beach although there's closer ones. A perfect base for exploring Wales.

Honestly I'd definitely return over and over.

Disliked Nothing!

Electric hardstanding and grass pitch

Liked Almost everything, this site is absolutely fantastic with very welcoming and easy going owners, this is also a working farm, with cattle n sheep in nearby fields, it is peaceful and a stunning part of the Welsh countryside, we were greeted upon arrival and shown to our pitch, the owners 2 little dogs, bette and Nancy were a treasure to see, Nancy is a cheeky little jack Russell who loves food, but, will also show plenty of affection, bette is a golden collie, she's an absolute little sweet heart, she will bring you her ball and quite happily play and entertain for hours, I cannot recommend this campsite to anyone strongly enough! It's pretty central to most things in gwynedd and anglesey, from the planes n copters from Raf base at anglesey, to the micro lites, Cessnas and air sea rescue helicopter from caernarfon airport, thank you all for a lovely holiday and see you all again soon ❤️❤️❤️
