What customers say
A lovely spot for families, with lots for the kids. Reviews mention clean loos, grand staff, and a great spot near the beach. A bit busy and noisy for some, with dear food and fun. Pitches and some bits could be better, especially for tourers. Still, lots would come back and tell their pals.

A good option for families with kids.
Warren electric grass touring pitch
Liked Large pitch on Meadows area.
Staff were, overall, friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I didn't get the name of the young man who was amazing with all the kids, and adults, at the High Ropes, but he delivered outstanding, empathetic service, even under pressure.
Disliked It became clear during our week that the park is run with very little staff who are stressed and so customer service sometimes deteriorates because of this.
Rats were seen at the site bins.
Table areas were not cleared and remained dirty at the main reception area.
Wifi only good at reception area.

Not ideal for a quiet, relaxing break
Meadows electric grass touring pitch (large)
Liked A nice play area for the children, the swimming was included.
Site was flat with good size pitches.
Evening entertainment available
Good food and ice-cream outlets
Dog agility/play area available
Disliked Free Range rats!! and there was a lot of them running up and down behind the motorhome, squeaking and fighting.
The shower block was dirty, floors filthy, the shower was dirty and full of hairs with no means of cleaning before or after use. No sink in the shower block you had to wash in the toilet block.
The ellsen disposal didn't have any running water/hose to enable you to rinse out after emptying or wash your hands.
although there were a lot of activities available they were not included in the price of the holiday. You had to pay extra for all activities for the children which was between £9 - £15. Again although the General swimming was included in the price, It was difficult to book onto the swimming as it needed to be done weeks in advance. Resulting in a lot of the sessions being unavailable and having to cue to see if there was any space on the sessions resulting in disappointment once places had gone. You also needed to pay extra for a lot of the pool activities.
The site is not a quiet site, partying and young children running around, making noise, screaming etc, just being children, well after midnight every night. Security had to be called one night at 2am for fighting!

Liked Location was good.
Disliked Toilet block, shower block, waste disposal all need attention. Security staff were rude, obnoxious and bullying. I’ve never been on a campsite where the staff wanted to make it as awkward as possible for people to enjoy themselves.

Liked It was in a good position for what we wanted to do in the area.
Disliked We didn’t use any of the facilities, we were booked in for swimming but that got cancelled because of water contamination. Security on site wasn’t useful or helpful. They were inconsistent in their rules from management down to foot patrol, in that it seemed one rule for one and another for someone else. The toilet facilities were not very clean, there was no soap in the ladies for 2 days. The elsan waste was disgusting.

A great place for a trip…
Meadows electric grass touring pitch
Liked A great place for a trip with children, lots of attractions, but if you are looking for peace and quiet, this is definitely the place for you.
Disliked Proper cleaning of toilets and showers is not ensured, there was no soap in the women's bathroom for over 2 days, I understand that this is a very frequently used place, but from experience I know that toilets should be cleaned more than once a day.

Liked Size of pitch
Disliked Big site, very busy. Noisy in late evening with many children running around. Allocated pitch was a 10 min walk to central hub and activities. A nest of rats was close by. Toilet/shower block/elsan point were too far away. Radar key needed for disabled facilities. Many activities was an extra charge. Some staff were less than helpful.
