Liked: Very friendly site staff. Beautiful wll kept site.
Disliked: The website strongly recommends the on site bar as "Open during the Touring Season from 11.00 11.00 daily." We stayed on the 4th and 5th of June which I would consider "Touring Season" however the bar was closed for the duration. It would help if the bar is to be closed if this was clearly stated on the website

From the manager: The website also said ring the reception bell for the bar, something you obviously did not do as the Friendly staff would have oblidged. When you stayed the park was extremely quiet so the staff are hardly likely to stand behind the bar twiddling their thumbs in the expectation of custom, especially when they are the same staff who keep the park 'Beautiful'. Hence the request 'Ring the reception bell'.

Liked: Lovely quiet site. Facilities were good nice and clean, had everything needed. Really liked they had shower, toilet and sink altogether in a room x3. Plus separate toilets. We booked this site as it is so close (15min drive) to the Grigrin Farm red kite feeding which also did not disappoint.
Disliked: Keep clean sign in shower/toilet area bit creepy stating we were always being watched 😳

Shepherd's hut
Liked: Lovely shepherd’s hut on a quiet site. Beautiful location, so able to sit and see the horses in the adjoining field and the very old church - open and peaceful to visit - with its well-kept churchyard. Kettle and mugs for making cups of tea. Good sized fridge and microwave. Very comfortable double bed that pulls out from being a sofa. A short walk to the toilet and shower of which you have exclusive use. Wood burner in the corner - didn’t use as the sun shine! Site in a great position, close to Llandridod Wells and 10 minute drive to the Welsh Showground in Builth Wells. Would love to stay again.
