What a woolly wicked location has Cardigan Camping and Touring Caravan Site in Ceredigion: no dount you'll be yarning on about all the things to see and do around here long after you've had to pack up and go home... Overlooking the Teifi estuary with smashing sea views and with easy access from the coast road, Cardigan Camping is also only a mile from Cardigan town, half a mile from the Wales Coastal Path and less than five miles from the superior Welsh sands of Poppit and Mwnt. It's also close to the West Wales Wildlife Park and to a wealth of walks leading directly from the farm straight into the viewsome Welsh countryside. Coarse fishing is available a mile away. Amenities include well-kept toilets and showers, water points and free wifi. Dogs are welcome and dog walking areas are on site. And, also most handy if you want to leave the car behind, Cardigan Camping is also close to its nearest bus stop (300 metres) and has woolly good links by public transport.

Local attractions

As you'll easily see, Cardigan Camping and Touring Caravan Site is in a woolly wicked west Wales location: you could spend weeks in these parts and still have to come back for more. Sandwise, some of the best-regarded beaches and most popular beaches in Wales/all the land are close by, such as Poppit, Mwnt, Aberporth, Llangrannog, Tresaith, Newport and Newquay, and with numerous opps for fishing, coastal hiking, sandcastle comps or taking a tour/boat to spot the local dolphins, porpoise and seals (always a hit with kids). A whirl around Oakwood theme park, an investigation of the Iron Age roundhouses at Castell Henllys fort or a peer at the inhabitants of Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park are other kid-friendly day outs in the area, and if you're at Narberth for Oakwood you might have to go back another day for the Blue Lagoon Waterpark. Walkwise, the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park and the Preseli Hills have miles of beaut hikes; more peacefully, have an amble around the village of Cenarth and its waterfalls, or St Dogmaels and its local market. Cardigan a mile away has plenty of shops, cafés and restaurants, as well as swimming pools, playgrounds and cinemas.
