Excellent value and brilliant staff
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Unfortunately due to really bad weather I was unable to camp but I have to say the price and communication from the site was excellent and hopefully I can enjoy my stay later in the year.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Spacious, quiet and the site was just what we needed.
Disliked Only got cold water from the hand basins in the women's shower block which wasn't great when it was April and snowing outside.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Lovely level pitches, good facilities and fantastic location
Disliked The weather🤣🤣, snowed heavily on the way here, but managed to get our tent up during a dry slot, now battering down waiting for storm Dave

Excellent value for money. Plenty of space and clean facilities.
Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked Plenty of room to pitch your tent or park your campervan. The toilets and showers in the hall were spotless. Excellent value for money.
Disliked Strange to camp on a football pitch. Not sheltered so we felt the cold winds and snow.

Non-electric grass tent pitch
Liked You know you have great campsite when the first thing you see in the morning is a golden eagle! This is a basic site, with bare minimum of facilities, yet it works well for a spot to rest your head in between active days out in the area. Good value for money.
Disliked The facilities could benefit from a little more attention.
1 - There was a sign asking users to use mop and bucket to clean up after showers, (not an unusual request at campsites) but in this case there was no mop and bucket provided.
2 - The lock on the men's toilet door did not work.
3 - The towel put out to dry hands was dirty - not sure how often it is cleaned/replaced
4 - There were 2 showers but opened out into a shared changing area.
5 - The clothes rack for hanging clothes whilst showering was 50% broken (only 2 out of the 4 hooks were useable).
6 - The wheely bins around the back of the facilities block were over flowing and needed to be put out on an appropriate day for council collection.
7 - Wifi was difficult to get. Even going into the toilet block (and presumably closer to the router) gave mixed results.

Good site, with good facilities and flat grass to pitch/park anywhere
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Nice and relaxing, very flexible emailed by owners straight away with all details. Got all the facilities you need for a campsite.
Disliked Could do with some maintenance, i.e. sort dripping taps and locks on cubicle doors.
The morning we left there was tree surgeons attending to the woods behind which made it noisy which helped us ack up quicker
