What customers say
Lovely castle grounds, recommended. Staff friendly & helpful, facilities clean, great pub/pizza. Dog walks and peace are a bonus. Some facilities a bit dated, and some pitches far from amenities.
Summary AI-generated from Pitchup.com customer reviews

Lovely place, good facilities, friendly staff, something for everyone
Electric optional hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Good sized pitch well spaced out between pitches - this kept it quiet but equally friendly and sociable.
Fab walks around the site, beautiful woodland and views, wonderful history.
All quiet by 11 pm around the Tourer pitches.
Disliked Quite a bit of noise from Tent field as they had some large groups, children play behind the motorhome pitches which can be heard but not a nuisance and fab to hear children enjoying the outside.

Liked Beautiful site. Great facilities. I made error with booking, fitted me in despite being full.
Disliked Noisy when entertainment is on - Saturday evening (they did say busiest weekend of year.)

Level pitches & friendly staff; grim toilets, not cleaned regularly
Electric optional grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nice pitch; communal cookhouse with pug sockets, kettles & microwaves (although it would have been nice to have been told about them - we only realised we could use them at the end of our stay)
Friendly staff in the pub/restaurant & very good pizzas.
Disliked The men’s toilets were grim. Could only find one usable toilet, as the others were filthy and soiled. The same discarded bottles and tissues on the floor when we left as when we arrived so obviously not being cleaned regularly enough. Not nice at all.
