Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Pods well set out, immaculate facilities, beautiful location, friendly staff

Disliked: Parking was an issue this time, the small gravel car park was always full and the main carpark had an old Caravan and most of the empty bays had a cone on them. Poor water pressure in the toilets making them difficult to flush

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Good for overnight stay, clean pod.

Disliked: Pods are to close to each other, no privacy, toilets far from pods, mattresses covered in protective sheets and makes noise every time you move. And you can’t leave car next to the pod.

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Great location. Clean and tidy site. Well equipped pods

Disliked: Long Walk to the toilets through the night . There was a large family who had booked a number of the pods. The pods were scattered through the site. They congregated in the middle in the evening . The first night my husband asked them to be quiet as it was after 1am and people were trying to sleep. The second night they were still talking loudly and one of the kids was shouting it was 2am. Maybe management should impose a noise curfew like other sites.

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Booked a camping pod for a very last minute break away with my son (aged 11). Price incredibly reasonable (3 nights £96). Pod had everything we needed - power, beds, a fridge for a wee wine and a TV with free view. WiFi signal wasn't the strongest but I was able to hotspot from my phone no problem. Site clean and tidy, staff friendly and bar prices are very reasonable for food/drinks/snacks. Toilets are a little bit of a wander away but considering the price I wasn't expecting an ensuite and happy to walk even in the rain. Can see why this could be a problem for anyone in a hurry but thankfully our scheduling meant no during the night visits were required! Showers and toilets very clean. There is also a family bathroom/shower room which I thought was a nice touch with a half sized bath for younger children. Location perfect for touring, Coldingham Bay looked lovely even in the rain and nearby St. Abbs is very picturesque (with a nice cafe too). We also visited Berwick, Bamburgh Castle and the Holy Island. There is a well stocked Spar a short walk away that's open to 9pm most evenings. I would definitely visit again, the pod did exactly what I needed it to do - provided me with an affordable way to go on an adventure with my son.

Camping pod (superior)

Liked: Location was good with a beautiful walk taking you down to the small beach and some lovely trails around. Cinema around 15 mins away, Eyemouth very close by and lovely meals in the Golf Club. Toilet / shower facilities were really clean. Bar nice and staff really friendly even when really busy!
