  • Quiet relaxing break
How about some Scottish seaside time to soothe the soul? The cabins at Lunga Estate are set up for that specific purpose, at a spacious and peaceful Argyll family estate about a mile from Craobh Haven. Each of the cabins at this site has its own unique character, but each has a well-equipped kitchen, an ensuite bathroom, a comfy living space and both central heating and a wood-fired stove to keep things cosy inside. They’re scattered around the estate, well apart from one another, so you’ll get that peaceful and remote vibe that many guests crave from a rural break like this. Staying here by the coast means gorgeous views out over the Inner Hebrides, along with nearby access to miles of beaches for walks, wild swims and launching your kayaks or paddleboards. The site owners recommend filling your days with simple pleasures like walking your dogs on the estate’s miles of paths, ambling down to Ardfern (about 40 minutes’ walk away) for lunch, or just taking a cooling dip off the rocks nearby. They’re also happy to recommend nature walks and garden visits for your low-key days out, or help you sort out horse rides from the estate.

What customers say

Lovely spot with grand views and a good pub. Cabins are cosy with good kitchens and fires. A few found it a bit grubby, hard to find staff, and a weak phone signal. One found the bed lumpy and the info a bit off.
