Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: The pitch sites were very clean, good toilet and washing facilities, great views from the field. Communication was good from Marie who came up to meet us when we arrived as we weren’t sure where to pitch. Easy to find on google maps. Good distance from Cheddar Gorge and close to local village for a pub dinner.
Disliked: Not a dislike but maybe need a designated area for older kids to play football etc away from pitch sites in back field.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Small campsite with good, clean facilities. The dedicated open fire places, located away from the pitches, were a good idea. Actual real toilets and no smelly fly-infested long drops. Washing facilities for dishes and utensils are sheltered. It’s a well-thought out, well considered little campsite. The site is slightly sheltered as it benefits from a location just below an area of localised area of high ground, combined with field hedgerows, the scattered fruit trees and a solid low fence sub-dividing the site. The paths and vehicular areas have heavy duty gravel which helps to ensure they don’t get muddy or waterlogged.

Liked: Friendly staff and great facilities. The children liked watching the horses. Wookey Hole and Wells are a few minutes down the road. I don't know if there was WiFi but had a full signal on 3 Mobile.

Liked: Beautiful gem of a site in really pretty and quiet rural location. Small but perfect .. simple beautifully clean showers and loos in wooden cabins, shared fire pits a lovely little orchard and horses to look at. The icing on the cake are the wonderful family who run it. We broke down while there in our van and they were incredibly kind and helpful. Will definitely be back. Absolute bliss for me and my adult son.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike ..
