What customers say
This peaceful site boasts lovely nature and a stream. Guests loved the clean facilities and showers, and the fire pits on each pitch. Shepherds huts are cosy and well-equipped. Perfect for Dartmoor trips, walks, and villages. Narrow access roads aside, the tranquility and nature make it a top spot to revisit.

Beautiful site, level pitches with plenty of room
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked We enjoyed the location on the edge of the moorland and the whole leafy setting with trees and stream. Such a pretty site. The pitches are generous and the firepit is a great addition. The shower block and kitchen were fabulous, modern and clean. Late arrival was stress-free because we didn't need to report to reception.
The whole atmosphere felt friendly and happy yet respectful - we've stayed on campsites that felt very po faced which is not what we're looking for. It's not party central but you can sense people around you are having a great holiday.
Disliked A microwave in the kitchen would be very useful to us when we're having a cheeky weekend getaway. It means we can keep our kit super simple and not have to bring kitchen/cooking equipment. A cafe would also be fabulous for the same reason, even if it was just for the morning cuppa and maybe a bit of brekkers.

Liked This place is AMAZING! So many things to love, it really has everything you need for a perfectly relaxed stay. Highlights for me were the hot showers, immaculate toilet blocks, firepit and being utterly surrounded by trees. If I could rate it higher I would. Thank you for a beautiful, peaceful stay.
Disliked Zip. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothinggggg.

Highly recommend this site for the price, scenery and the amenities
Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked An excellent site, so clean, large flat pitches with fire pits, exceptional clean amenities and washing up facilities.
Not once was there no hot water for showering or washing up.
Washer-dryer available as well as phone charging lockers.
No music which allows nature’s music and that of the little stream to shine.
Fire wood available but get there early!
Disliked Although I’m going to mention it, only for awareness and not to discredit the site at all - it’s all single lane traffic but luckily I was not driving. Very little/ spotty phone reception

Beautiful campsite for nature lovers, with clean facilities
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Campsite layout is magical, with lots of trees and a stream, it's not a one open space, which made is more private and cozy. Pitch size is very generous and you can park your car next to your tent, unless your tent is really big. You can make a fire in designated area, and buy wood on site, too. Toilets, showers and washing up area are big enough and clean.
