Electric optional grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Great views of countryside. Cornish oven next to Morrisons 400m away from campsite. Roger and Amy very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: The rain. But not much you can do about that one. Could have done with one or two toilets with lower sinks for my 5 year olds to brush their teeth. But to be honest we did not check all toilets, and they brushed in the shower most nights. Only the morning

Liked: The whole place is brilliant the staff are so helpful and friendly and the facilities are absolutely brilliant and there was more than enough room in all the showers to shower my father that is disabled

From the manager: Arh, Thank you Neil. It was such a pleasure meeting you all this Easter and I want to extend gratitude for how optimistic and understanding you were in light of arriving mid-storm for your stay. I'm so pleased you enjoyed your stay with us and we are very excited to welcome you back again in the summer in which I am putting in an order for some lovely weather for you! Sending best wishes to all your family, Amy, Roger and family

Sandra T. The reviewer booked through Pitchup.com

Fully-serviced grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch

Liked: Individually marked pitches with little hedge rows making it feel private, very clean facilities, extremely helpful staff

Disliked: The weather, nothing about the site to dislike just wish we hadn’t come down when there was a storm

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you Sandra for your kind words and feedback. It has been quite some start to the season and so far from what we wish to share with customers. We are very grateful for your custom, your understanding and I hope you all had a wonderful time at the wedding celebrations. Best wishes Amy, Roger and family

Liked: Wonderful staff who were so helpful when the weather was too bad for us to stay on our grass pitch. Lovely, clean facilities, and great value.

Siobhan G. The reviewer booked through Pitchup.com

Fully-serviced grass and gravel tent or motorhome pitch

Liked: Very friendly and accommodating despite the awful weather Very clean facilities with double hot showers Good size pitches Wonderful views

Disliked: If you want peace and quiet I wouldn’t recommend pitches 7 or 8 in the ‘meadow’ as next to a loud workshop.

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Thank you so much Siobhan for your very kind review. This has for sure been our most challenging period to date with exceptional weather for months and a storm passing through over Easter. We are so grateful to all of those we were able to accommodate and all the co-operative works that went on to make the most of an undesirable start to the season and to customers Easter breaks. Thank you for your custom and understanding and we wish you all the best for the rest of the year! Amy, Roger and family

From the manager: Thank you so much Michaela for your kind words and custom and what lovely photos you managed to take in between the spouts of weather! I'm so pleased you had a great time and we wish you all the best for the rest of your year! Amy, Roger and family

Route directions

Coming from Redruth, enter Illogan coming up a large hill. At the brow of the hill you will see two chapels opposite one another. Take it slowly here, as the site is 50 yards further on, on the right-hand side opposite a little crossroad sign for Richards Lane. Look out for a concrete lane with central grass verge between two white cottages; this leads up to the site.
