Liked: Warm welcome on arrival. Due to the site being quiet I was able to choose my pitch. Hilly site but mostly level pitches. Peaceful location with lovely views. I did not use the facilities so unable to comment on these.

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked: A peaceful site in early season - 2nd June 2025. We had pitch 21, possibly the best view on one side only. There was a shed, a nice idea in principle, with table & chairs, games table, washing machine, kettle, toaster, 2 washing up sinks etc, but see my 'disliked' comments ref shed! We stayed here due to proximity to Falmouth - 3 miles away. Gweek and the seal sanctuary is a few miles away, via small roads.
Disliked: We were not welcomed upon arrival, no one was on site, instead our pitch number and our name was noted on a board, along with a scruffy hand drawn field diagram at the field entrance (I think this was mentioned within booking info' though) Our pitch was unkempt, weedy, scruffy, bumpy. Dog faeces were ON our pitch and elsewhere and I stood in it, walking it into our motor home! There was no hot water at the basin in one toilet/shower block, although my husband had hot water in the other block, possibly not at the same time as I had none. We could not find any bins, only a pile of torn bin bags besides the large shed, I suspect rats/wildlife had torn the bin bags there. We could not find a hose pipe to fill our water tank, thus had to carry buckets from the tap, which wasn't on our pitch and manually fill with a funnel. If there had been a staff presence we may have found bins and a hose, but I doubt they had any. The shed mentioned in my 'liked' comment was a good idea, but let down by being grubby, with dirty old utensils, pots & pans etc in the cupboards, it was as if it was a persons unkempt home who wasn't house proud! The site was hard to find and once we missed the turn, we had 25 miles extra travel due to being lost and having to avoid tiny roads (in a 7.5 meter motor home!) we got home to a £100 traffic fine incurred during this extra travel! The site overall seemed to be a quick money making field, with little effort to invest in staff, cleanliness, modernisation, or field & pitch tidiness. The road to the site is tricky in a large vehicle. The toilets and showers were very basic and just okay and could benefit from some modernisation, hot water and general TLC. Only one side of the field had a countryside view and not on all pitches, the other 3 sides had little to no view due to perimeter foliage. The site felt unloved.

Electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked: Great level pitch for the motorhome with views of the valley.
Superb walk into the woods and even though the bluebells weren't in bloom it was a magical adventure.
Great facilities. Nice touch with a coffee machine, books and air hockey table as well as football goals and rope swings for the kids.
Great location just outside Falmouth - Just keep an eye out for the sign for the farm/camping site which is low down at the entrance.
No wifi but we knew that when booked.
Disliked: Nothing.

Camping pod
Liked: Loved the quiet, beautiful location. Well cared for campsite with good facilities and really helpful, friendly owners. We stayed in a camping pod which was excellent - well stocked, comfortable and a great alternative to a tent in the rain.
