Peaceful rural site with lovely views and a warm welcome. Guests enjoyed the friendly hosts, ample pitches and resident chickens. Facilities are basic but spotless, with hot showers. Some wanted more toilets/showers, and a few pitches are angled. Ideal for a quiet, relaxing break.

Great customer service, really lovely and understanding.
Bell tent (basic)
Liked I was due to stay for 3 night in a bell tent but due to my children being poorly was unable to travel, when I spoke to the owner she was so nice and understanding and offered to rearrange our dates when everyone was well. We have now booked and again lovely and helpful owner can't wait to visit.

Liked We had a campervan and a tent. We could have both on the grass in the same pitch area. It really is the sun kissed meadow, there was loads of sunshine and a pleasant view, with birds singing. It did really feel like a short break in the country side.
Simple toilet and shower, hot water with good pressure.

It is a lovely little campsite off grid. Owner is very friendly.

We enjoyed the quietness of the campsite and it being in such a rural location. Surrounded by farm noises- it was very enjoyable for my young children.
We also enjoyed the chickens on site.
Disliked I think it needs more toilets/ shower facilities. If there are more than a few parties staying and sharing one shower with 2 toilets (one compostable).

Liked Lovely views and very peaceful. Compost toilet was ok (not as well cared for as some I’ve used but it did the job!). Didn’t use the shower or communal kitchen so can’t comment on those. Pitch was quite sloped but we were able to borrow some chocks for the camper van.
