- Glamping in a Kentish meadow on a working organic farm
- Paradise for walkers with waymarked trails to explore
- 30 minutes from Tunbridge Wells and less than an hour from London
Campfires, birdsong and spectacular scenery… It sounds almost perfect, right? At Free Range Glamping, on Bore Place organic farm 15 minutes from Edenbridge in Kent, you get all these best bits of camping along with a few home comforts – like a cosy, solid bed.
Free Range Glamping is a paradise for walkers: three waymarked trails cross the fields and woodlands of the 500-acre Bore Place farm, or you can pick up a map from reception and follow one of the walks that explore further into the Kent countryside.
If you prefer to switch off at home base, the site is on the edge of a peaceful woodland and there’s loads of space around you to give you a sense of seclusion. Wander through the woods or relax beside your private firepit and listen to the birds chirping in the trees.
There’s no need to arrive laden down with supplies: each tent is fully-equipped with an outdoor kitchen, linens, towels and a woodburning stove – everything and the kitchen sink is looked after.
You can stock up on grub and essential supplies in Edenbridge – if you fancy a night off from cooking, there are plenty of restaurants within 20 minutes of the site.
