What customers say
Quiet, well-run site with spacious pitches, spotless. Friendly, helpful staff. Toilets/showers clean. Great base for exploring, close to amenities. Driveway a bit rough; showers could be better.

Electric grass touring pitch
Liked The pitches were a very generous size with plenty of space between.
So much green space, lovely views.
Lots of wildlife (Cyril the red squirrel especially)
Everything was close by eg water tap, toilet/shower facilities, waste disposal, washing up area.
The children's play area was a nice touch. Plus a badminton and table tennis set up.
In the washing up area there was an added bonus of a washing&drying machine (small charge)
All the facilities were kept very clean.
Carol & Mark the site managers were brilliant. So helpful, kind and welcoming. We cant wait to come again

All part of camping though over all it was a nice place to stay.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Very good location 10 mins drive to zoo’s Sandown and Shanklin beach. Nice and quiet campsite with good facility’s. Spacious pitches. Plenty of space for kids to mess around. Morrisons and Aldi just up the road. It’s in a great location if you’re traveling with kids.
Disliked One of the first to arrive on opening day we were put in a nice secluded pitch. On a slight slope. The site is not graded, some pitches flatter than others. The site is divided up by I think hawthorn bushes so as these seem like they were freshly cut there were thorns everywhere! Three punchers on the kids bikes and with a brand new air awning it was quite worrying. Not counting but I pulled 32 10mm thorns from my flip flops when I got home.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The campsite was perfect from the moment we booked. I had contact from the site confirming our booking and checking if we needed help with ferry bookings. The location of the campsite was ideal with close proximity to the beach and good access to lots of the Islands activities (there is also a choice of 2 supermarkets close by). The campsite's facilities were so well maintained and always clean. There was a great amount of toilets and showers: we never had to wait for one to be free. There is a nice wash up area and even access to washing machine/tumble dryer. The site also had the added bonus of a park which my children enjoyed - they were even able to spot red squirrels too! The staff on site were always so friendly and gave us great advice on some other places to visit while on the island. We had a truly fantastic trip away and would highly recommend this site!

Well run & qiet family campsite
Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (XL)
Liked Excellent campsite, quiet, secluded but close enough to all amenities, clean, tidy & well run. Found next to nothing to dislike about it other than a fairly pot-hole ridden driveway. Found out during the course of our stay that my grandparents had stayed here in 1968, and also that one of the owners is the best chum since school of my cousin. It truly is a small world!
Disliked Not much other than the toilet/shower block could be cleaned more than once a day, particularly after most folks have used it in the morning to get washed.

Electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Nice campsite, clean facilities with all you would need for an extended camping trip. Like the bay isles, all nice sizes, high capacity site but with the hedges you feel quite private.
Location is everything you would need for a family trip with young children, barely 30 minutes from the ferry, 5-10 minutes from shanklin and sandown beach. Local sites all short drives away, lots of food options.
Friendly welcome!
Disliked Would have happily paid extra for WiFi due to my phone service not being great, but was nice to switch off!

Spacious campsite, good location, friendly staff. Clean & well kept.
Electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely friendly greeting from Carol. Great location off the close to amenities but off the main road. Quiet fields all around and nice large pitches. Showers and toilets kept clean. Plenty of hot water. Nice walks close by for walking the dog. The reception offered lots of extras, although we didn't use them. Plus there is an area for children and outdoor table tennis etc. Really nicely kept campsite
Disliked The timer for the hot water in the shower too quick if washing hair. Could also do with a shelf or more hooks in the shower cubicles. Not all pitches are not level so chocks needed.
