Non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked: Semi wild campsite, was lovely to be under the trees. Plenty to explore with the lake and the bog and close to lots of nice walks. Dogs are welcome and all those we came across were really friendly. You're allowed open fires and BBQs if they're off the ground and there are some fire pits available to hire at £5/night. Didn't feel overly crowded and although there were some large loud groups these were dealt with effectively. It's a great campsite for groups as it's adults only and really relaxed.
Disliked: There is only one shower and it got pretty muddy, I don't think the toilets were cleaned on the Saturday and there wasn't any hand soap, just hand sanitiser.

Non-electric forest floor tent pitch
Liked: The site was clean and very spacious for the number of pitches. A really tranquil setting.
Disliked: The toilet, shower and cleaning up facilities were below average for the size of the campsite. It was dirty and not particularly well kept. The structure could do with a revamp as it is in need of some TLC.

Liked: Everything! What a fantastic Bank Holiday getaway. We were allowed to pitch anywhere in the field, we had a campervan but if you are camping, the area beyond the trees is a beautiful place to pitch up. Kylie the host was so lovely and friendly, spent a lot of time chatting and she was always checking on everyone. Dogs are allowed off lead which we don’t normally do, however everyone on site was friendly and all the dogs had a great time! We will definitely be going back!
