What customers say
Grand campsite, staff are dead sound and always there to help. Clean as a whistle, loads of space on the pitches and handy for getting around. Bonus points for using the sister park's bits too. Most folk love it, but a bit of road noise can happen on some pitches, and some of the facilities are a tad old-fashioned, but still kept well.

Liked Spotless toilets and showers. Easy to find the site. Well placed to tour the area.
Disliked Our pitch was in the shade and near the main road so it was noisy until around midnight and then the traffic started again around 5.

Exceptional
Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (premium)
Liked We booked last minute as my father lives down there and was extremely poorly. I’d booked the wrong week! The receptionist was so so lovely booked us onto a pitch and let us also leave the caravan on there the day we were to leave so we could see dad. The whole park was clean tidy and very well set out the facilities are exceptional. We are going to book to go down as a holiday hopefully next year.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Slick reception and check-in; great size pitches and decent shower/toilet block. Best part was the curfew which meant no noise after 10.30pm. Quality.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Friendly staff. Good reception.
Well organised.
Lots of good showers and toilets.
Good location in relation to Milford on sea and coast
Disliked Lack of atmosphere in terms of a non descript park. No view. Little greenery or privacy.
Little far out of the forest for us.

Friendly staff & very accommodating, well stocked shop
Fully-serviced gravel and hardstanding touring pitch (premium)
Liked Close to towns, shops, local supermarkets.
Several beaches near by & local attractions like pepper pig world, museums, wildlife parks ect. Several bike hire shops are close by aswell.
Shorefield country park (sister site) offers free access to the restaurant, entertainment, swimming and other facilities at no extra cost.
Very friendly staff who were more than happy to accommodate us & others.
Disliked The access to the site wasn’t great with pot holes & limited visibility, & a very high speed bump into the site.
Children’s small play area positioned on the entrance & barrier to on coming traffic.
Toilet block had broken toilet locks, mouldy showers, (only 3 showers) smelly flannels on sink & a dirty mop bucket left. Didn’t see any one come & clean the whole week or see any signs of cleaning. 😳
Very small dog area & a full smelly poo bin. 🤢
Constant road noice from early morning to mid night.
Super pitches were of different sizes from small to extra large with plenty of space for a car - we could just get ares onto the stone. (No parking on the grass)
Are pitch was positioned right next to the entrance of people coming and going with no privacy again not suitable with young children or when sitting out side.
Sadly nothing for the children to do at all at this site, entertainment & swimming is at the sister site which is a short 10 min drive but a 45 min walk on a busy road, not suitable if got young children or you want to have a drink.
No walks / bike routes close by that isn’t by a busy main road.
Advertisement for this site is all at the sister site & not this persifc site!
No veiw, ponies or moorland but are close to brockenhurst, burley & other moorland.

The staff were the friendliest and…
Electric grass pitch
Liked The staff were the friendliest and most welcoming that I’ve ever come across on a campsite. The pitches are fenced off so you know exactly which is your area. You can order fresh pastries to collect in the morning. Great dog walking area.
Disliked The first morning we saw that all our kitchen set up was covered in ants and it was really hard to keep them at bay. So put us off eating at the campsite.
The toilet block had two rows of toilets but one side was sometimes all locked off which resulted in queuing for the loo. Also not all the soap dispensers were filled up so again at busy times was a bit awkward.
Not the campsites fault but lots of noisy kids running free till late at night and very early in the morning also people just walked straight through your pitch and lots of people smoking.
