Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (XL)
Liked: The campsite as a whole was large and as it wasn’t fully booked out there were loads of pitches around , it is also not too far from the town centre
Disliked: There’s no ‘curfew’ unfortunately we was on a pitch where the other campers liked to have very loud music and doing drugs until the early hours of the morning, they stayed for 2 nights like ourselves and the music was going on past 2:30 in the morning, this was not ideal with having babies with us There were also children screaming from another pitch until midnight

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Good location with reasonable access to public transport. Well spaced pitches, number of pitches, open spaces within each field, friendliness of staff, relaxed atmosphere and fires/bbqs accepted, cafe on site.
Disliked: Additional toilet/wash facilities with more frequent cleaning during busier periods.

Non-electric grass tent pitch (medium)
Liked: Site was lovely, very big but sectioned off into different fields, very well kept grass pitches of a good size, everywhere was kept very clean, tidy and litter free by the groundsmen, it’s astonishing how many manky people leave their rubbish lying around. Perfect location for us as we were visiting relatives close by. Also fantastic for Epping forest walks, totally surrounded by woodland and nature. Loved it!
Disliked: In field no. 5 we were quite a walk from the nearest toilet block for a night time visit and a little further away from the shower block for morning ablutions.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Really helpful staff, big open spaces with easy access to epping forest for walks. Shower block and toilets located on site.
Disliked: Was in field 7 which had a far walk to the closest toilet, which was a little inconvenient due to the rain but would have been fine in better weather.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Location. Lots of space. Friendly staff. Rabbits and squirrels! Layout of pitches. Woodland surrounds.
Disliked: Unfortunately, noisy large group of campers who talked loudly and played music until 3am. Not enough toilet facilities for the size of the site.

Liked: We loved our pitch, we had our privacy and a beautiful surrounding of trees. The passage to the Epping Forest was also through the bushes behind our tent, which allowed us to go for walks to the forest whenever we felt like it. Definitely recommend.

Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (large)
Liked: Despite the inconvenience of being too close to other campers within a relatively empty field, we were granted permission to move pitches. Our new spot was secluded and the surrounding forest was idyllic. All staff were extremely helpful, and the toilet/shower facilities were very clean.
Disliked: The allocation of sites needs more consideration. We were allocated to a field with plenty of available pitches, (only two others were taken), yet we were placed right next to another camper as well as next to a large religious group in a neighbouring field who performed sing-song events over a loudspeaker during the day night.
