Liked: This is my go to safe bolt hole! I love it here and have introduced my friends and family to this place on many occasions! It’s quiet and peaceful, with all the essential amenities. When I need to disconnected from the madness of life…this is the place I go to. I have now lost count of how many times I’ve been here and will always return ☺️

Liked: Rockinghams Farm was ideal for us, lots of space so not very close to others. They provide a fire pit and logs which were reasonably priced. The toilet and shower was clean and hot water on demand for washing up. We planned a lovely 6 mile countryside walk which did not disappoint.

Liked: Liked everything about this campsite. I was taking my 4yo camping for the first time. He loved the tractors and horses on the farm. The camp was a nice little walk away from the car park to make it feel like you were “wild camping” but no too far that if he decided he didn’t like it we could easily packed up and got back to the car park in the dark. It wasn’t busy at all, so the single toilet and shower was more than enough. The host was very welcoming. This is a big commercial (which is what I was looking for) so there isn’t any activities built on site, although there is plenty of paths through the woods and some tractors and diggers to see. Unsure if they had wifi, I assume definitely not in the woods.

Liked: Fantastic place to stay, Josephine was an incredible host. Toilets and shower were clean. Pitches were amazing, we chose a woodland pitch and it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere which was just what we wanted. Would definitely stay here again.

Liked: Just come back from 2 night stay at Rockingham Farm Site is perfect if you just want peace and quiet and get away from all your daily stresses. Josephine kept in contact and was on hand if we needed anything at all. Great sized site and not over whelming at all. Facilities are simple but great and clean. Nice to be able to have fires, fire wood and fire pits avaliable from site. You can walk around the woods/forest which was lovely. You can camp in The forest too. We are already planning going back at end Oct this year 😊 Location close to Tiptree, Mersea, Colchester so lots to do and all not far away We liked the site and we will be visiting again. Thank you Josephine

Liked: The location of the site was great, peaceful and rural, good size for families. Owner very friendly & helpful. Easy access to water, firewood and washing-up facilities.
Disliked: Another toilet/shower cabin is needed to avoid queues, particularly when there a family groups on the site. Other campers playing music after 10pm.
