Liked We had a great stay at Moss Rose. Its a very peaceful campsite. Amazing views if the weather is right 😀. The owners are great. Really helpful and nice. Toilets and showers are clean and well kept. Love the little honesty shops for all the essentials. The walk through the little forest area is great. We will return soon. Thankyou

Lovely, friendly place I would go again Facilities are basic
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked This was a really nice site, we stated about mobility issues so they put us on site 20 close by the toilets and shower
Owner came round daily to clean the a an chat to see how we were getting on
No WiFi as it’s in a field but got 5G so done everything needed like maps for days out
Disliked Some people not following the rules of dogs on lead or the quiet times unfortunately this ISNT the can’t sites fault but others visiting
Lots and lots of horseflies got bitten to death even with bug spray but again we are out in a field I assumed there would be some

Lovely natural site not built up by tarmac roads, pitches, footpaths.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Lovely site tucked away right In the middle of the countryside well away from any noisy main roads up a farm track. Excellent communication from hosts with easy to follow instructions, very friendly and accommodating, and easy to contact them via phone or text whilst on/off site. The honesty hut with cold drinks and snacks, and everything you need for a fire pit was a lovely touch, and at very fair prices.
Disliked If you are being a bit picky, the men’s toilet cubicle is a bit small, (if you are bigger boned) and there is only the one per sex, so may be more of an issue at weekends or during school holidays, but it wouldn’t stop us returning.

Great location good facilities stunning countryside views
Non-electric grass campervan pitch
Liked Set in beautiful Lancashire countryside , really friendly and helpful owner, campsite clean nice extras like the honesty shak , microwave .. could do with improved toilet and shower facilities however all in really good site. Recommend the enclosed pitch too and the Glamping or defiantly a positive review from us. Be mindful it’s a farm and you’ll be woke at 7 ish with the cock a doodling! Lovely site lovey owners
Disliked Toilet and shower not the best but good enough

Overall a lovely relaxing weekend had by my husband and I and our dog.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked The spacing. The natural surroundings and the owner/s. So polite, helpful and ensured your stay was as hoped for
There was an added bonus of the hen and her baby chicks in the honesty/rest area.
Everything about this site was what I love. There is no cramped feeling. No noise (aside from farmyard animals- which being a country farming lass, this was a better sound than hearing others on larger campsites) the peace and quiet and everyone respected the rules.
My dog loved the space too
Location- No road noise was heard other than vehicles coming onto the site.
Parking on pitch- this was perfect due to having had a hip operation 7 weeks ago so the walk to the car would have been difficult otherwise.
Disliked The blooming horseflies!!! Wow...not the camps fault though....just a time of the year and the type of surroundings.
Location-Not an issue to us but to others who are used to 2 wide roads and would expect that, the journey in is on single track roads to the campsite, which are somewhat up and down due to being on old salt plains. Passing places along the way so careful driving needed along the roads.

Excellent Vango 100 Camping Trip.
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Excellent camp site with great facilities (toilets, showers, fridge, microwave, drinking water, honesty shop), Site owner very helpfull had time to chat to us when we arrived and made us both feel welcome. We had a lovely walk to into the village of Pilling we went to the local pub called the Elletson Arms which had excellent staff and we had a good cooked homemade meal and some drinks. A shop in the village across from the pub and a fish and chip shop. The site was very cleaned and kept to a high standard. We liked the honesty shop for getting drinks and firewood. We hired a bench and firepit which made the camping trip. We will definately be back again.
Disliked Horse Flies but it was just the time we visited with been horse fly season.

Excellent little campsite!
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked It’s a very beautiful place to camp - calm and peaceful! Wildlife comes out at nighttime, there’s an owl that flys near by! The honestly shack is also very helpful if you forget anything at home, it has your essentials / little treats!

Gorgeous, quiet, well-serviced site, highly recommend
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Rustic campsite, long grass with mown paths and pitches. Loads of wildlife, great facilities (toilets, showers, fridge, microwave, drinking water, honesty shop), lovely owners who can't to visit and were around on site to chat to. A few Wendy houses and slides for very little visitors, nature walks and farm animals to visit for older kids. All it was missing was a football pitch ;-)
Disliked Not the fault of the campsite but... Attacked by horse flies in the morning! Take bug spray and citronella, the bites are terrible!
