  • Small and friendly Yorkshire Dales farm with spectacular views
  • A five-minute walk from the cobbled streets of Dent village centre
  • Garden games available; a two-minute walk from the Dales Way trail
Millbeck Farm is a quiet site that overlooks the gorgeous village of Dent in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. This working farm site would be an excellent fit for families and couples looking to get back to nature, take in lots of fresh country air and explore the national park by bike, rail or on foot. The site's convenient location on the outskirts of Dent means that local cafés, pubs and a well-stocked village store are all a five-minute walk away. Whether you want to pick up supplies for dinner, walk up to Flintergill and the wishing tree or fancy an ice cream while strolling the cobbled streets, it's handy to have so many village amenities close by. Out in the surrounding countryside, meanwhile, you could set out on long-distance hikes along the Dales Way, a well-signposted path that passes a few hundred yards from the site entrance. If you have little ones in tow or don't have all day to spare, you can also just turn left for an easy two-mile circuit that ends up in the village – great for visiting dog walkers looking for a regular route. The market town of Sedbergh is a 10-minute drive away, with more shops and eateries, while the Lake District National Park can be reached in just under three quarters of an hour. Millbeck Farm has mains water, toilets and washing up facilities. Garden games are available to borrow on site against a small deposit. Barbecues are allowed if they are off the ground.
