Liked: Views of the mountains were pretty from the campsite Very basic facilities - toilets are 2x portaloos, water is a single tap Single point entry/ exit became very muddy due to the rain - would be concerned the car would get stuck if this had gotten worse/ if we stayed longer Also campsite is near a main road, however this does mean there are shops and towns available close by Did not meet staff but received a friendly text and they were readily available for advice

Liked: We liked that there was only one other tent on the whole field. Good location.
Disliked: Noise of the main rd was constant a llnight. Don't think we went to sleep. Needs shower facilities and a proper toilet block. 2 port a loos on sight and a tap for drinking water

Liked: A field with a lovely view is sometimes all you need. The best kind of no-frills campsite; Greta value, not too busy, plenty of room between tents, not noisy, and the portaloos were kept in decent condition. Excellent location for Newby Bridge, Fell Foot park, and access to the lake for paddle boarding. Will definitely be back!
