What customers say
Great facilities, pool's a big hit, staff super friendly. Ideal base for Dales/Lakes walks. Toilets/showers & pitches a bit hit-and-miss for some. Pods could be better, some near roads. Wi-Fi & pool usually extra.

Excellent.
Camping pod (no pets)
Liked The pods are very clean and warm.
Lots to do on site for kids and all facilities were very clean. Friendly staff and great value for money.

Never tried a camping pod before, will stick to a tent in future
Camping pod (no pets)
Liked Facilities were generally clean, the camping pod had a heater and plug sockets, kids loved the swimming pool.
Disliked The aggressive marketing everywhere about buying a static caravan, the slightly grumpy staff member on reception, everyone is packed in so didn't feel relaxing.

The area - plenty to do…
Electric optional gravel touring caravan pitch
Liked The area - plenty to do locally
Outside the Bar/Restaurant area has nice seating
Disliked The touring section is nothing more than a carpark. The ground is extremely rocky and uneven. Lorries and cars use it as a turning circle with early morning deliveries backing up into the back of the kitchen. Not safe for children or dogs.
The pitches are tight and really close together with little room outside.
I wouldn't recommend this sight as a touring site, it feels like an add on to make money. Photo advertising the touring section is actually the seasonal pitches - there are only 3 touring pitches available. Star Rating based on touring pitch alone.

Liked The facilities / pool (which we did not use but they looked nice) and staff were really good and aplogetic.
Disliked Not being told the eatery was closed on aTueaday when booking as we asked specifrically it it was open. Very inconvenient - the location of our pitch.

Do not book if you have a caravan.

Liked Nothing
Disliked We were placed in a car park with our caravan. Other than some trees no greenery anywhere on caravan site.
Over crowded, children running loose all over the park, drunk drivers that made it incredibly dangerous children.
Loud environment with kids screaming till 10/11pm at night.
Staff at the bar were terrible. Manager seemed to be only one who cared.
Electricity cards have to be purchased in advance for caravan, total rip off.
Toilet/shower facilities are filthy, nappy bins overflowing and sanitary bins all full. Showered were scolding hot.
Toilets inside where the bar was were not usable they were so dirty.

Camping pod (no pets)
Liked What a delightful camp sight. (A hidden gem). So glad I chose fell end. Staff super friendly and Dawn on reception extremely knowledgeable and happy to give advise on where to take my 7 your old grand daughter..
All facilties spotlessly clean and the added Bonus of having a swimming pool / gym on site.
Disliked I don't have a dislike but if I had to give one I would ask for a pod that was not so close to the road.
And to possibly have WiFi in the pods. Big ask I know
