Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: The opening of the gate is already beatiful to See. You drive trough a long driveway…You turn the corner….and See a beatiful, luxury campsite. With super large pitches, clean and well maintained. My standaard is high but this camping surpasses everything!!

Electric hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: Quiet location. Very friendly staff immaculate gardens and grassed area. Immaculately clean Superior standard toilet and shower block. Ample water points. Easy and secure access. Pet friendly. This campsite although new has been really well thought out. With regard to comfort and facilities. It has everything a campsite needs. Each pitch is larger than other campsites I have stayed on, with ample space for an RV/caravan and awning plus car and room for the kids to kick a ball around. Attach to the toilet block is a covered communal dish washing area and a great place to chat to other campers. There are multiple electric pints to hook up to the electric all around the site. I have concentrated on caravans and RVs but the owners have accommodated the tent only traveler again with ample space. A lot of time and money has been spent on the gardens and when the gardens mature the site will be stunning. Around the area there are plenty of scope for country walks and cycle rides. There is a small shop on site with limited opening times that stock the basics. It is exceptionally reasonably priced and at the lower end of cost. It’s location is relatively close to all major towns and tourist attractions but you do need a car.

Disliked: There is nothing that I didn’t like but you feel that it can not be that perfect, but it is. So to put it into perspective. There were no toilet brushes to save the blushes

Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch

Liked: Shiny new site - even the young saplings separating the well spaced lots. Friendly welcome. Squeaky clean wash block. The onsite shop has any essentials forgotten. Loads of water points about the site. Direct access to public footpaths taking you kn a great walk to the canal, small forest area and into nearby village with a family pub. Also recommend the garden centre for breakfast, 10 min walk.

Disliked: Nothing!

Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch

Liked: What a wonderful quiet site. Well maintained and great facilities. Level large pitches. Lucy did drive round to say hello when we had set up she was very friendly and welcoming.

Disliked: No answer on the two phone numbers so couldn’t get in until another camper gave us the code. No soap in men’s toilet

Recommend to friends Visit again

From the manager: Hi Tracey, Thank you for your kind comments, sorry about the phone thing, unfortunately it does occasionally happen. I checked the soap in the gents, amazingly, someone has taken the insides of the machine that makes it work! I have ordered another. Thanks for letting me know.

Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Non-electric grass tent, touring caravan or trailer tent pitch

Liked: A really well laid out site with spacious pitches of all types, and a large green space in the middle for games etc. Toilets and showers are modern and well kept; the site is very well organised and looked after. I was welcomed there and fully informed on my arrival. There is an on-site farm shop and another at the farm nearby selling their own dairy and meat produce - for which I personally will return in future, wonderful, quality produce. Thoroughly recommended.

From the manager: We love happy campers! Thanks Philippa.😊

Local attractions

Head to the medieval town of Nantwich (15 minutes’ drive) to sample local produce in the indoor market (open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday); the site owners run a cheese stall there and offer a discount to their camping guests. You can also browse indie shops and antique dealers, admire higgledy-piggledy half-timbered houses or take strolls along the River Weaver Keep the kids happy with a visit to the elephants, big cats and rhinos at Chester Zoo, or learn more about rays and sharks at Blue Planet Aquarium (both 50 minutes). The bucket-list theme park Alton Towers (an hour and 10 minutes) has extreme rollercoasters as well as gentle rides for toddlers in CBeebies Land. Any rainy days can be taken care of in Crewe (15 minutes); simply head for the bowling alleys at Tenpin Crewe or catch a film at the neighbouring cinema. If you’re keen to maintain your fitness regime, you can swim lengths of the pool and train in the gym at Crewe Lifestyle Centre.
