Liked: The location - close to Hexham and Hadrian’s Wall. The large hard standing pitch, with electric and close to the facilities, which are clean and warm. The peace and quiet. Very nice people at the reception. Availability of washing machine and tumble dryer.

Liked: Location, the way the site was split up into different areas with trees etc. to give more privacy and a more cosy feel to a quite a big site. The showers and the toilets were superb - almost hotel standard. Public footpaths going from the front and back of the site. How quiet the site was.
Disliked: The number of notices around the site telling you not to do things - for example not to put disposable nappies in the chemical toilet disposal point, what rubbish you can put in the bin in the toilet block, not to play with a ball or frisbee. I also disliked that I had to pay for an electric hook up (as there were no other places available) although I didn't need it.

Liked: Excellent shower and toilet facilities. Lovely rural location. I was very apprehensive on arrival as it was a much larger site than I expected as it’s located in the centre of a larger site with static caravans. BUT I couldn’t have been more wrong. It was quiet, there was plenty of space between pitches and we had a lovely few night here
Disliked: Other than my expectations of a small site there’s nothing I could fault.

Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Very quiet and peaceful site with small areas of a few pitches so it feels quite private for the size of the site. Excellent shower and toilet facilities. Dog walks straight from the site and plenty of dog bins around. Short drive to Hadrian's wall and many fort sites. We arrived outside reception opening hours but our welcome info was left where it was easily found and our pitch was located easily with the map provided.
Disliked: Nothing

Liked: Showers, toilets, vanity area absolutely spotless. Kept in tip top condition smell amazing. Best ever
Disliked: No staff around. Reception constantly closed, didn’t see any site staff in the whole week. The hard surface was a thin layer of stone on top of soil and uneven.
