What customers say
Grand spot, spotless facilities, and the staff are pure sound. Lovely grounds for a wander, and the shop/cafe is a doddle. Mostly great, though a couple reckon the pitches are a bit close and the water points could be handier. A peaceful, well-run place plenty are keen to revisit.

Electric optional hardstanding and grass campervan pitch (six person)
Liked My wife and I, together with our little dog, had a lovely stay at this beautiful campsite in our little campervan. The staff were really friendly and helpful. We had a great nights rest on this quiet dark site, perfect for stargazing whenever the clouds part. We had a coffee and a bacon bap in the little on-site café on the morning of our departure to send us on our way.

Great site with lovely staff, everything you could need in one spot
Electric optional grass touring caravan, tent or trailer tent pitch
Liked Really clean facilities, site was lovely and well maintained. Lovely flowers and landscaping between pitches! Convenient reception area which also serves as a cafe and shop if you run out of essentials. Were able to hire a fire pit and purchase logs too which was great for a chilly evening!
Also had washers and dryers, we weren’t anticipating on using them but needed to dry some clothes off after some heavy rain while we set up our pitch
Disliked Nothing, great service and site

Nice campsite at an excellent location
Non-electric grass tent or trailer tent pitch (medium)
Liked Excellent location, you can walk straight to the highest section of the wall and catch a nice pub on the way back. Friendly people. Nice that you can get a breakfast.
Disliked Pitch is hard to reach by car in wet conditions. Campsite a bit exposed (although much less than with my previous visit 20 years ago).
