What customers say
A well-liked, simple pop-up spot, loved for its brilliant location near a lovely beach and pubs. Spacious, level pitches give lots of room and quiet. Facilities are basic but fine for self-sufficient campers. Extra loos would be good at busy times. Gorgeous views and a peaceful vibe are big pluses.

Great value stop over.
Non-electric grass motorhome pitch
Liked Perfect stop over for Seahouses. Spent two pleasant nights here and witnessed a fabulous sunset. 10 minute walk over the dunes to lovely long sandy beach. Nice clean site with good spacing between pitches. Facilities good but no drive-over grey waste. Not a problem for us as we carry a hose. We enjoyed the company of the animals particularly the beautiful race horses!

Liked Large flat field with basic facilities such as water tap, porta loos, chemical disposal. Plenty of room to spread out between neighbours. 5 to 10 min stroll down to fantastic beach. 5 mins to joiners pub. Fabulous walks North or South along coast. Had a very peaceful night.

Liked Beautiful scenery, friendly staff gave an occasional drive by and wave, very spacious field, enjoyed the sunsets. 5 mins walk from the historic coastal path with fabulous beaches, castles and traditional pubs
Disliked Portaloos left a lot to be desired by the Sunday morning but wouldn’t stop me returning.

From the manager: Hi we clean the loos every morning and take away any excess rubbish when the bins are full.
The toilets where merely littered with paper towels where someone had pulled a fistful out and placed the excess on the floor instead of placing beside the loo. Other than that they were okay but religiously cleaned and washed out as usual by our little team:)
Excellent site with clean facilities, friendly staff, level pitches.

Liked Location is ideal. Walks from the site in all directions. Gasto-pubs within walking distance.
Portaloo was a bonus, clean and well maintained.
Scenery was lovely, beach was perfect. I felt safe as a single traveler.
