Electric grass and gravel campervan pitch
Liked: Easy check-in, nice flat site with on-site, well stocked bar. Toilet and shower block centrally placed. Innovative toilets with sink above the cistern. Close to the coast.
Disliked: You need a hook-up cable longer than 10m, ours didn’t reach. No Wi-Fi.

Bell tent (large)
Liked: Great location, lovely atmosphere friendly staff. Comfy bed in the bell tent. Good on site bar and cafe with outdoor eating area.
Disliked: Toilets and showers facilities might be OK for summer months but where cold for autumn. Didn't like the on site location of the bell tents next to the road. Vans would be more suitable in that location as they have a little more sound proofing. Bell tents would be better situated backing into the fields. I was also expecting some form of heating in the bell tent as you get in bell tents at YHA sites for the price I payed!

Liked: Location and well stocked facilities. The outdoor bar and pizza seller onsite and the indie vibe.
Disliked: The shower cubicles which were open to the elements at the top and bottom. Fine when the weather is warm, but not so great when there is a cold wind blowing.

Electric grass and gravel campervan pitch
Liked: All aspects of this site - from easy check in at the start, level spacious pitch, toilet and shower facilities are quirky but very good. Liked the eco friendly energy in place. Facilities very clean, always loo paper and paper towels and cleaned regularly. Hot water for washing up and dustbins away from pitches with some recycling. Bar was good too and enjoyed a pint after our long day walking the coastal paths. Had a fire pit going one night which we enjoyed but, time of year, nights get too chilly to sit out for us! Great experience would recommend. Location suited us for walking coastal paths north and south. On bus route but need to plan around bus timetable as not frequent. Nearby Alnwick is walkable to visit Gardens and Castle and the Town.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch (family)
Liked: Space allocation & being able to have my car next to my tent. Great simple check in and the facilities were great especially showers and toilets. Felt safe in the family area
Disliked: Person staying next to me (male) pestered me a bit and then drove into site at 10.30pm back from wherever and then was up running his car at 5am but not the sites fault

Liked: Good clean site with well kept toilets. Great to have a small bar on site if needed. Small issue with a loose dog causing problems with other campers and their dogs was dealt with professionally by the campsite manager.
Disliked: No nice views like other campsites but that's just a preference
