What customers say
This super clean, well-kept woodland spot's a hit for peace, big pitches & brilliant facilities. Great dog walking, secure field & trails. Friendly staff. Most will be back! Near Whitby is a bonus. Slight gripes on shower temps/sensors & weak phone signal.

Excellent site with great facilities with a immaculate site
Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch (adults only)
Liked Great location for exploring.
The site was very well kept and the toilets and shower block were immaculate!
Pitches were a good size
Disliked Only gripe was that I couldn’t connect to the WiFi to get some emails or check the maps but that might be my phone but there is WiFi you can pay for.
But this was probably blessing in disguise as I was able to turn off for a few days

Liked Great location for Whitby, staff were friendly and helpful, amenities lovely and clean, loved the forest setting, pitches well maintained. Walked to local pub for meal which was excellent.
Disliked Although WiFi available at a cost, our pitch too far away to gain access via link given

Great family friendly and dog friendly site with great facilities
Fully-serviced hardstanding touring pitch
Liked Great quiet, peaceful and well kept site with great woodland walks and a small lake. Great sized pitches with plenty of room for caravan, awning and car.
Staff were very friendly and helpful on our arrival despite us being slightly late due to a breakdown and traffic.
Toilet and shower blocks were immaculate and always kept clean as was the waste disposal and rubbish disposal areas.
Great location with only a 10 minute drive into whitby and not far from other towns.
Plenty to do around the site and good walks all the way round the site through the wooded area with a large community field for kids and dogs to go on.
Disliked Felt like the service points (water/electric) were on the "wrong side" of the pitches as to where a caravan with awning would go but easily solvable with a long hose for aqua roll and long power lead, our power lead was long enough but it was a squeeze with the hose.
Slight communication issues with getting in touch with the site prior to our arrival with emails and phone calls
No phone signal on EE, ID Mobile and Vodafone although this isnt the sites fault and they do offer a wifi service which I think was £15 for 6 days but this occasionally dropped out

Excellent site, would definitely recommend a visit.
Electric hardstanding motorhome pitch (adults only)
Liked Friendly & helpful reception, easy to find & good access, shown to our pitch, quiet & peaceful, well cared for site, spotless facilities at all times, good location to tour from, pleasant circular walk around the site.
Disliked The motorhome pitches don't get much sun at all due to it being a woodland site, apart from that it's perfection.

From the manager: Thank you fro your lovely review and I'm pleased you explored our beautiful woodland.
Just to confirm for any other motorhomers out there, yes we are set in woodland and the motorhome bay is shadier than other areas of the park so please be mindful of this when booking. This was invaluable though when temperatures reached 28 degrees this year but we appreciate those days are far and few between.....well at the moment that is!
kind regards
Lisa
