Non-electric grass tent pitch (small)
Liked: Super clean, very friendly (as are fellow campers) and countryside location is pure Yorkshire. We didn't have our dogs with us but it's great to see another dog friendly campsite. More are needed.
Disliked: Gravel track was a little tricky with the motorbikes but we just went slow and managed.

Liked: Beautifully maintained site, felt very green & peaceful, tucked away with amazing views - good for the soul! Modern, super clean facilities & excellent walks plus large designated dog area. Friendly reception & nice touch re coffee & pastry order, even though I didn’t use this myself. Have already booked a longer stay 😊

Liked: Really well organised park with great facilities and location, with good access to the stunning black rock beach. The site team were very helpful and welcoming, great information packs and a clean, tidy and well maintained site, with level pitches. The site also has an on site bakery which creates fantastic products to order from a limited menu, delicious 😋
Disliked: Absolutely nothing to dislike

Electric grass tent pitch (large)
Liked: This was our second stay at Howgill and if possible it exceeded expectation. From arrival, the staff on reception checked us in with a wealth of local and site information. The pitch was in great condition despite recent poor weather and the shower and toilet facilities are the best I’ve ever come across. We made use of the washing up and fridge facilities which were also fantastic.

Electric gravel touring pitch
Liked: Amazing views and probably the best pitch on the site. Staff very helpful and clearly very hardworking as the site and facilities are well maintained and clean. Beautiful river walk within distance and the superb Love Brownies. The secure dog play area is a winner. Apart from the unseasonal weather , everything was perfect.
