Liked: They were super friendly and helpful, also liked that they offered fire pits. Good location!
Disliked: The toilet and shower facilities are not practical for the whole site. There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers for each sex and 1 disabled toilet/shower. Also the site aren't well equipped for wet weather, the field got quite muddy and cars were getting stuck. They were there to tow out but might be a good idea getting a gravel/stone/woodchip or even tarmac track in the field.

Liked: Lovely scenic location close to all the amenities that Settle town has to offer. The reception team were very welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay, particularly as the field was pretty wet following the previous few days of rain. They guided us to our pitch with clear knowledge of the areas not to drive over. Highly recommend stopping here.
Disliked: Bit of trek to the toilet and washing block.

Liked: This was one of the friendliest safest sites I’ve stayed at as a solo female traveler. Ji was concerned I would get stuck in the mud in my vintage van & emailed the site, within 19 mins I had an email back. Communication was outstanding. When I arrived, Jack actually put me on hard standing & was so lovely & friendly (everyone was). I can’t wait to go back in summer & pitch by the river. I was really impressed they had accessible facilities too. It’s a perfect location for a little stroll into the village, then I put a circular walk into all trails that took me by the river, it was beautiful! And it’s perfect location if you’re starting any of the Yorkshire three peaks. I highly recommended!

Liked: Stayed here for two nights. Fantastic hospitality on arrival and couldn’t do enough for you. Pitched up on the bottom field backing on to a stream. Nice and peaceful. The bad weather has made the field a bit difficult being a heavy van, but one txt message and I was sorted (towed). No problem in the summer months. Showers spotless, clean area for cleaning pots and pans. Did mention some extra hooks/shelves in the cubicles and is in the middle of getting this done. It would be nice one day to get showers and a pot washing area in the bottom field as this would make life a little easier. Overall a great place to be and will be back😎
