Electric grass pitch
Liked What a fabulous find! As the name suggests this is a beautifully quiet hideaway a stones throw (10 minutes walk) from the Humber estuary. The pitches are well spaced and all have EHU (although we didn't need this). The facilities are new and clean, simple but perfectly adequate and the power showers are excellent.
Predominantly surrounded by a windbreak fence (a great choice as the wind can be strong at times) but still allowing for some panoramic views over the unspoiled countryside you feel immersed in nature.
A walk to the end of Spurn Point and back is just shy of 15 miles and well worth the effort, however, for the less energetic the wonderful estuary view is 10 minutes walk (or a 2 minute drive) and if you're lucky enough you may catch a memorable sunset.
We were personally welcomed by the proprietor who has a wealth of knowledge of the area and has done a wonderful job creating this immaculate site.
We had a thoroughly enjoyable time and wouldn't hesitate to return.
Disliked Nothing to dislike - so long as you like peace and quiet.

Liked What a gem of a little site.
Fantastic host. So friendly and helpful.
The site was quiet and you could sit and listen to birdsong at dawn and dusk.
The nearest pub is approximately a 45 minute walk away, but has great views over the Humber estuary. Food was good and plenty of options for all tastes.
The facilities were basic but good. The showers in particular were fantastic. Proper electric showers, no push buttons!
We walked to Spurn Head during our stay. It was a very long walk there and back (broken up with a pub stop of course!), but we were able to see some fantastic wildlife during the walk.
Would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet, out of the way small site.
