What customers say
Grand spot, lots of room, spotless too, with top-notch facilities like modern showers and toilets, some with baths even. Staff are sound and a big help. Farm's a major draw for the kids, loads to see and do. Mostly peaceful, but a few mention noise from groups or the farm critters. Water can be a bit dodgy when busy, WiFi's a bit patchy, and some pitches are a bit wonky.

Avoid bank holiday
Electric grass pitch
Liked Lovely site. Loved that we could come and go to the farm during our stay.
Clean facilities.
Disliked •Poor WiFi.
•Showers were sometimes chilly.
•Other campers that arrived on bank holiday Friday.
We went from having a quiet camp to feeling like we were in a festival. First 3 days was a joy, quiet site. Kids all played together and made friends, it was lovely. Then the bank holiday campers arrived and numbers went up by about 400% Music playing really loudly from several areas one in front of our tent and one behind, very loud adults shouting over the music and kids screaming and shouting. Kids riding their bikes in packs of 10. In the shower block they were also shouting and shrieking and seemed to be hanging around in there, which meant it was really noisy, you couldn’t communicate with you children over the noise. My daughter was terrified and wouldn’t come out of the loo, until it had quietened down. It was groups of families and friends meeting and having a good catch up, but it was totally inconsiderate. We couldn’t get our daughter to sleep. We tried to watch a film to settle our family down a bit, we struggled to hear it due to the outside noise. At one point a man produced a mini chainsaw to cut his logs!!!
We camp regularly and this was crazy. We have literally never seen anything like it. They finally settled around 1 and then someone talked very loudly outside our tent at 5am just having a chat!! I can absolutely say we slept better and it was quieter at Latitude festival as other campers were really thoughtful.
I would visit the site again but definitely not over the bank holiday. We left a night early as we couldn’t face another night with the volume of people who were quite frankly selfish. I know another family also left early due to noise and behaviour of other campers.

Electric grass pitch
Liked Access to the farm.
Large pitch with firepits allowed.
Affordable price.
Helpful staff to resolve queries.
Bar.
Cafe at the farm was good for coffee.
Disliked Pitch boundary unclear.
Hot water a bit hit and miss with the showers/washing up.
Toilet block quite far from some of the site.
Coal supplied on site was a bit lacking.

All in all though a very nice stay. Would go back.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Large pitches and WiFi included.
My son loved the farm and for the cost I found it very reasonable to get in and as many times as we liked. Nice site with very dark skies which was nice to see the stars.
Disliked When the washing up and showers were used at the same time, the hot water went pretty quickly. But that’s camping wild style.
Maybe a bit of a quiet time cut off. People forget there voices carry through tents.

Other then our noisy smelly neighbours the camp site / farm is amazing
Electric grass pitch
Liked The park / farm is amazing so much to do for the children and lovely animals
Disliked We stayed in a caravan and was put next to people in tents who where noisy untill 12pm and had fire lit most evenings that stunk our caravan out and found it hard to breath and get to sleep. Think caravans & tents should be kept separate also showers cold if you dont get there at the right time of the day

Okay site for farm loving kids could do with better site management
Electric grass pitch
Liked The site was nice. Spacious pitches, lots of things for kids to do, toilets were nice and showers were okay, beautiful location
Disliked Pitches weren’t clearly marked, when checking if you were asked to look at a picture of the site, told your pitch number and left you your own device,
Showers weren’t draining over a couple of days.
Any complaints made went unnoticed and there’s no out of hours emergency line. Quiet hours weren’t policed and the family room was being abused by teenagers
Phone signal was poor and WiFi provided didn’t reach even the middle of the pitches

Nice site, with decent facilities
Electric grass pitch
Liked Nice big pitches and the on site bar was a nice touch.
Availability of breakfast in the mornings gave us a different option and the pizza night was good.
Activities in the farm were varied as well
Disliked Amount of noise after the 10pm curfew with the amount of people running around, being loud.

Friendly staff, toilets and showers are cleaned everyday.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Very helpful staff, I had an issue pitching up my tent due to not using it for 3 years and staff at reception was very helpful.
My children loved the farm animals was an amazing experience. Tesco, aldi and a Waitrose are only a 23 minute drive from the pitch and there is a local co-op closer to the pitch.

Really lovely campsite and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Electric grass pitch
Liked Family park was great, toilets were clean and well kept. Park was enough for the kids.
Disliked No shop on site except the gift shop so if you needed to get food pr snacks you needed to go off site which was a 10min drive.
WiFi didnt reach to the campsite just the toilets.

Whilst we had a lovely time, the above points did leave a sour taste
Electric grass pitch
Liked Atmosphere
Size
Amount of toilets / showers
Fridge / freezer on site
Disliked Wifi- as many other people have said, WiFi is terrible, and whilst the range covers the cow sheds, it is non existent for tents, and we were pretty close to it compared to others. This is compounded by terrible phone signal, which to be fair, is not their fault
Hot water - there's not enough to cover both washing up and showers, even during quiet periods
Taps - both sinks for washing up and showers require you to repeatedly push the button after 10 seconds to keep the water going. Real pain for both
Shop prices - we understand that for convenience you pay a bit extra, but £16 for a larger disposable BBQ is daylight robbery, and other products are similarly over priced

We had a great couple of…
Electric grass pitch
Liked We had a great couple of days here and managed to get two pitches next to each other. It’s quite a small site, which was lovely — we could clearly see the play area from our tent. Our pitch was on a bit of an incline, so we had to strategically place the beds to avoid rolling off!
The donkeys and ducks are a little noisy in the morning, but that’s all part of the fun. Toilets were only a couple of minutes’ walk away, which was handy. It’s a simple, no-fuss site — we just drove straight in, pitched up, and didn’t need any interaction with the site team. Electric hook-up was within easy reach, and the toilets were as clean as possible considering the heavy usage. The grass was a little long but thankfully dried out quickly.
Highly recommend getting farm tickets — it’s great to be able to pop in for a play on the playground or to grab a coffee.
