Great stay
Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked amazing forest location
Great tour- by walking through WW1 trenches and bunker
Disliked would be a nice addition to have some sort of picnic tables in all pitches
From the manager: Hello Alsu,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and Ian's WW1 trench tour.
We'll review what's on each pitch and see if we can add anymore bistro sets/benches.
We hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Naomi

Non-electric grass campervan pitch (six person)
Liked Great campsite. lovely pitch surrounded by trees. Great facilities. Lovely walk round the campsite of an evening with the dogs. The wardens were extremely helpful and very friendly. Only a 15 min drive to Brancaster beach which we love as its dog friendly. I enjoyed listening to the peacocks in the next campsite. Was some road noise, but we were aware of this before we booked, could still hear all the birds so was still a chilled enjoyable stay. Would definitely stay again at Dreamy Hollow when going to Norfolk.
From the manager: Hello Cheryl,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us!
It's wonderful being able to listen to the birds, including the peacocks. It's great to see the white peacocks if they ever make their way onto our site!
We hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Naomi
Friendly staff with lots of local recommendations, clean facilities.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked Idillic pitch, sheltered from the weather. Toilets and showers were good and we loved the campfire setup. Private pitches as well which really make a difference to usual campsites.
From the manager: Hello Martha,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and liked our sheltered, private pitches.
We hope to see you again soon!

Non-electric grass tent pitch (four person)
Liked Amazing woodland location and very private pitches. Liked that amplified music was banned, so it meant you could enjoy the birdsong.
From the manager: Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed your stay with us and the bird song! It's so magical to get away from busy every day life and relax and listen to nature.
We hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Naomi
Great site just need a bit of TLC to make perfect.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked Site layout
Toilets very clean
Starter fire pit box excellent value for money.
Disliked Noise from neighbouring sites (until 2am)
Distance from car park (pitch32)
Uneven and rutted pitch, easy fix
Gate is extremely fiddly (low grade combo lock) and on a downward slope making it very difficult for motorcycle camping as ground is soft and uneven.
From the manager: Hello Steven,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm glad to hear you liked the layout of our site, found our facilities clean and the starter fire box good value.
I'm sorry to hear you were disturbed by neighbouring sites until late. If it was from neighbouring pitches, then our Warden lives on site so is there for cases like that to make sure no one is breaking any of our site rules.
We clearly advertise we don't allow vehicles to drive through the site for safety reasons.
I'm sorry you had issues with the gate lock. We have had issues with different types of gate locks in the past, which is why we are in the process of installing a barrier gate with a keypad, unfortunately this has been delayed for a few reasons but will be up and running soon.
Kind regards,
Naomi
Literally a dreamy escape in the woods. Exactly what we needed.
Non-electric grass tent pitch (four person)
Liked Literally dreamy location. Site well organised, basic but great facilities for off grid camping.
Lots of wildlife and privacy within pitches.
Will definitely be booking again.
Disliked Lack of rubbish disposal, but easy enough to bring home.
From the manager: Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed our peaceful site and your stay with us is exactly what you needed.
Sorry to hear you found there was a lack of rubbish disposal. We have 2 large commercial rubbish bins at the front gate which are normally sufficient.
We hope to see you again soon!
Kind regards,
Naomi

Non-electric grass tent pitch (two person)
Liked I have loved this campsite for nearing ten years. It has changed a great deal since then, however, still remains the tranquil, picturesque and well managed camp site it always was. Perfect for small families or sedate couples who don’t mind a small hike from your car. Harry especially was kind and helpful.
Disliked Despite the expansion, they still have the same two showers and toilets that they always have had and in my opinion, not enough for the amount of users. They also still have the same wheelbarrows and again, they need more now(you use them to travel to your pitch from your car).
From the manager: Hello Roz,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
It's really great to hear you've been staying with us for nearly 10 years! we really appreciate your loyalty as a customer.
We agree on the numbers of showers and toilets, which is why we're in the process of adding an extra toilet/shower at the front of the site. Unfortunately, that's delayed but will hopefully be completed by summer.
We will see how this year goes and review if we still need more next year.
We've also noticed when the site is busy with arrivals that there is a shortage of wheelbarrows so we have some on order.
If you're ever unsure or would like a suggestion on which might be the best pitch for you, please give us a call or pop us an email.
We hope to see you for many more years to come!
Kind regards,
Naomi

Hot showers and fire pits by every pitch…
Non-electric grass tent pitch (three person)
Liked Hot showers and fire pits by every pitch
Disliked Uncomfortable pitches
Very dark
Cold shower cubicles quite cramped
By a main road
From the manager: Hi Dan,
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review.
I'm glad to hear you liked our hot showers and fire pits.
We like to keep the campsite as light pollution free as possible to give it the 'wild camping' feel.
I'm sorry to hear you found the pitch uncomfortable. All our different pitches make it unique (unlike a giant field filled with campers) however as the land was previously used to quarry, some pitches aren't 100% level.
Kind regards,
Naomi
