  • Family-friendly working farm site in the Worcestershire countryside
  • A 20-minute drive to a farm park and Wyre Forest; access to footpaths
  • A shop, a hotel and spa and pubs for meals out 20 minutes’ walk away
Sublime sunsets, pubs, walking trails and architecture? These are some of the ingredients that go into Clock Tower Camping, a family-friendly working dairy farm site surrounded by the Worcestershire countryside. As well as being 20 minutes’ drive from Wyre Forest and the Little Owl Farm Park, this site is right in the mix of a load of walking trails (wildlife packed, by the way) with several pubs nearby. How about that architecture? Well, the site is alongside the Abberley Clock Tower (five minutes’ walk away for some special sunrises or sunsets over the Shropshire Hills in the distance). See if you can spot the farm’s cows, red deer, goats, chicken and geese on the way (you likely will on the local footpaths). Walks-wise, the farm is halfway along the Worcestershire Way between Malvern and Bewdley (the path skirts around the east of the farm, half a kilometre away from the pitches and down a private driveway). A little further out, Abberley Hill is well worth the 25 minutes’ hike. To keep the farm experience as authentic as possible, there are simple facilities including a portable toilet, cleaned daily. The local village, Abberley Common, is just 20 minutes’ walk away from the site and home to a top-notch hotel and spa, as well as two pubs and a restaurant, all serving food. There’s a shop here too or a 24-hour garage in the next village, also 20 minutes’ walk away.
