Electric hardstanding touring pitch
Liked: Loved this quiet secluded site, very peaceful, just lovely bird song. Dark skies, nice layout and space and dog walk close by . Owner was lovely and showed us to our pitch and facilities, which incidentally were spotless , nice hot shower ..took about a £1.00 for a decent shower .. Already booked our next visit 👍
Disliked: Having to leave ..🥲

Liked: Peaceful setting and well maintained area. Very friendly hosts showed us to our pitch and gave an overview of everything on site.
Disliked: Unfortunately bad mobile and wifi/data signal in the area but not the sites fault. Just something to bear in mind if you need to stay connected.

From the manager: Thank you for your review. much appreciated. The mobile signal varies who you are with, they are not all the same. We are with Three mobile and get a good signal for less than £6.00 per month. Thanks again.

Liked: The lovely couple sited beside us
Disliked: Such a shame as this could be a little gem. Unfortunately the facilities just aren’t up to scratch. The internet and tv reception are very poor. The whole site is very dilapidated and the pitches are haphazard being shown by the owner where to park but cramming visitors together until it started to feel like we were in a car park. Also we were told that this was a dog friendly place with plenty of walks. Unfortunately this isn’t the case walking only on the road not even a dog mess bin on the site.

From the manager: Poetic license would be an appropriate comment in response. . .

Liked: What a little gem of a place, so peaceful. Little wooded area on both sides so all you can hear are the birds singing. Showers and toilets lovely and clean. Pitches are all hard standing so no complaints there at all. Plenty of fields to walk the dog but you can go along the road as it is very much in the middle of the countryside so no traffic to worry about. The gentleman who runs the site was very helpful too so we will be returning at some point.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike at all.

Liked: Well, the owner greeted us and he was very nice and informative, told us all about the tree he grew from a seed he had from said.
Disliked: The site is very remote 5 miles from anywhere which is ok for caravaners who can unhitch and go exploring, not the same for motorhomes. The site is on a gentle incline so if you don't have wheel chocks don't go to this site. Unfortunately we had a power total site power cut not the first time apparently. The shower was very clean but it cost 80p to have a shower bit expensive when you times that by two then by 7 nights.
