Electric grass pitch

Liked: Welcome was good. Facilities were excellent, all new. Field was kept up to scratch . Lots of good service points. The Horsebox bar was great, good prices and nice place to meet people. Food shack again was great, prices very reasonable.

Disliked: Could do with a mop and bucket with disinfectant in so you could mop out the shower when you have finished. Make sure dogs are kept on leads and cleaned up after

Non-electric grass pitch

Liked: Lovely picturesque site - very quiet on site but some road noise from "A" road nearby - quietened at night. Amazing shower / wash rooms and great access to canal and river walks through a private gate on the site. we found Worcester centre about 1.5 Hours along the river then lovely historic rural streets parks and gulleys to Worcester Race Course & centre including Cathedral for enthusiastic walkers. Loads to do around and about if driving - but a little bit out of Worcester :-(

Disliked: Not much nearby if you are planning walking - Boozy box a nice on-site touch if open and the weather kind ;-)

Electric grass pitch

Liked: The staff was lovely. Pitches great size. Bathroom was amazingly clean and a great little touch with lovely hand wash and hand lotion. Would be nice to see some sort of steps put in place near the sinks for the kids to help reach the beautiful sinks for wash time

Local attractions

As it's just a few miles to the north of Worcester (10 minutes' drive), you're sure to want to get into the city to visit attractions like Worcester Cathedral (with its famous Norman Crypt), the timber-framed Tudor House Museum, the Royal Worcester Museum with its extensive porcelain collection and Worcester Woods Country Park (out of town, 15 minutes’ drive), which is great for a picnic or dog walk. Slightly further afield, a half-hour drive will get you into the midst of the Malvern Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, a green and grassy range of peaks with lots of hikes to choose from. Head in the opposite direction for a day trip to Kinver Edge (half an hour), an elevated sandstone ridge and ancient hillfort with far-reaching views. Got kids who need to be kept entertained? Cadbury World (40 minutes) on the edge of Birmingham is sure to prove popular with sweet-toothed tiddlers. Other good options in the vicinity of Mill House include the West Midland Safari Park (20 minutes) and Full Throttle Raceway (half an hour), where there's a separate mini track for young children.
