  • Luxurious bell tent glamping on a family farm in rural Worcestershire
  • Malvern Hills 15 minutes’ drive; West Midland Safari Park 40 minutes
  • Exclusive-use shower hut, firepit, grill and covered dining area
If you’re keen to sample life under canvas, but not quite so keen on putting up a tent from scratch, step forward Lincetter Luxury Glamping. Based on a rural family-run farm five minutes’ drive from Whitbourne in Worcestershire, the luxury accommodation at this site is a bell tent – and just one, so it’ll be nice and quiet – so you can arrive, settle in and let your holiday begin at once. Inside the bell tent, there is a proper double bed with linen included and a fold-down sofa bed for the smaller guests too (bedding is not included for this bed) .There’s bags of storage space, comfy seating and woodburning heaters to keep you all snug, and little touches like floor cushions, warming rugs and fairy lights all add to the festival vibe too. Outside you have private facilities – and rather posh ones at that, with a waterfall shower and flushing loo – in a wooden shepherd’s hut, as well as a firepit, grill and covered dining area so you can eat alfresco no matter what the weather is doing. Combine all this with lovely rural views, dog walks directly from the pitches and lots of room for kicking a ball around in the field, and you have a relaxed and luxurious camping experience for all the family – and any pets.

Bell tent

Liked: We would give it 6 stars if we could. As soon as we arrived the stress and strains of life evaporated almost immediately. The vista was beautiful and the only sound was the the buzzards overhead, owls in the surrounding trees (at night) and sheep in the distance (oh, and a lot of rain). The tent inside was spacious and perfectly laid out and had everything you needed, including a log burner that, even though it was August, came in most useful as storm Antoni ragged outside. There is also a TV (which didn't even get switched on) and Wi-Fi, which was stable and fast and easily coped with four of us attached and surfing, when we weren't sat outside, next to the the fire pit, soaking in the peacefulness. Finally, the icing on the cake was the bathroom (on a trailer). Situated not far from the tent, and with the cooking station just outside (including large marshmallows and toasting fork), once you were in it and the door was closed it was as if you were back at home and not in the middle of a field. All-in-all: Just Perfect (sorry about the amount of grass we left inside the tent).

Disliked: The only thing we disliked was that we couldn't stay longer !
