Electric optional hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked: Ben was great with communication, he met us on arrival with the gate code. The grass was neatly mowed and looked really tidy. Very peaceful, hard standing/gravel pitch which was level, we had the choice of pitch which was nice. We walked to three pubs in the afternoon from the site Red Hart, The Flyford (fab chips) and the Bell. Not far from home for us we just wanted some peace and quiet and this site certainly did not disappoint. Not the most modern site but a fantastic rural escape. We will be back!

Liked: Elec hook ups, good drainage on gravel pitches. Quick response to texts and calls from host. Pub 17 mins easy walk away serving food
Disliked: Only two toilets and one shower for whole site Pitches could be more private given space available maybe hedges to separate. Site outbuildings could be smartened up and clearer signage for water, bins etc.

Non-electric grass tent, campervan or trailer tent pitch
Liked: Was contacted straight away by Ben to confirm booking by text and some additional campsite info. On arrival the campsite gate is padlocked which gives an added extra layer of security for campers rung Ben for code for entry. The campsite is very nice and peacefully situated in the countryside. Friendly environment friendly staff. Met Bens father very all round sound guy interesting to talk with and his pet Hen she wasn’t shy lols. Facilities and campsite are well looked after and maintained proper toilet and shower. All in all I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again and recommend this campsite to anyone else.
