What customers say
Sure, this peaceful, back-to-basics site offers a tranquil escape in beautiful countryside. Guests love the quiet, spacious pitches & great comms. Basic but spotless facilities, even the composting loo got a nod. Great for walks, wildlife spotting. Field's a bit uneven but easy to find a good spot.

So peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Easy…

Liked So peaceful with beautiful surroundings. Easy to find and access. Simple, basic site perfect for our one night lay over stay whilst travelling around different areas. The sun set across the field was amazing, a great spot to catch it on a clear night.
Site owners were so helpful, we received a text before arriving with plenty of information that we would need. We were left to it and didn't find the owners intrusive. However, they were only a text away if anything was needed! Our camper van battery died during the night so i sent the owners a text seeking help and they replied quickly and came to the site to help us jump start it. Excellent customer service from friendly people.

Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Plenty of room on left hand side of driveway. Right hand side has deep burrows so not suitable to even drive across.
Disliked The grass was very long and more suitable to wearing waterproof garden boots. It could really do with a mow.

Peaceful and clean, we will be going back.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked The site was quiet and peaceful. Everything was clean and tidy.
I admit it took a few visits to get used to the composting toilet, but that was more a us issue having never experienced one before.
As an extra we hired one of the sites fire pits, which we sat around as the sun set, which helped make our stay more memorable.

Lovely site offering a lovely sunset. Brilliant value for money.
Non-electric grass touring pitch
Liked Lovely, quiet spot. Only one other camper was there when I stayed, so I had virtually the entire field to myself.
Water available as well as a spotlessly clean compostable toilet.
Access is really easy, and a track runs the entire length of the field. No muddy scramble to get out, in the rain!
Excellent drainage.
Lovely and friendly communication from the site owner.
Disliked The field is very uneven, but as there was only one other person there, this wasn’t a problem, and I was easily able to find a level spot to position my camper.

From the manager: We are glad you had enjoyable stay.
Our field has a mixture of medieval ridge and furrow as well as a completely flat mowed area. We are very flexible and let campers choose their own pitches (weather permitting) .
