Electric gravel and hardstanding touring pitch

Liked: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Condover Park and were spoilt for choice with 4 beautiful lakes to walk around. The grounds are kept perfectly, the showers were lovely and warm (better than ours at home!) and toilets were spotless. It was wonderful being surrounded by all the lovely fields and trees, particularly the apple trees- a delicious, organic treat for our walk around the lake. Couldn’t recommend more, we hope to be back soon!

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: Stayed for the weekend beginning 13th September. Pitches were fully serviced but unfortunately due to the pitch we were on our water pipe would not reach. They were pretty standard and well kept. There are minimal amenities on site. Toilets and shower blocks are very clean and well kept. A massive down side for me is the lighting on site (there is none). The only light is one on the toilet block which is a saving grace in the night. It's quite scary to walk a dog in the evening or even pop to the shop (nearest is 10 mins) but it's all in the dark. Even the entrance to put the code in. I went to the shop after we arrived and was on my own all on the dark. In the summer I don't suppose it will be an issue in the light nights. Dog friendly site but no dog poop bins (we just gathered them under our van and put in main rubbish at the end of the stay). Rubbish bins are at the end of the drive in the patch black. Not somewhere to go at night on your own. Was really peaceful and serene with lovely surroundings but i wouldn't visit again purely down to the lighting etc Lovely site though for those with everything they need As a past fisherwoman this site would be amazing for those coming for the fishing, would totally recommend in that instance

Disliked: No bins around site only 1 by front gate Water pipe wouldn't reach outlet but would have if we were on an odd number pitch No lighting around site

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch

Liked: This is the third time we've stayed there. We love the serenity and we'll spaced out fully serviced pitches supported by 2 small facility blocks. Both are kept immaculately. The location is perfect for walking. There is a pub in Dorrington that served a good meal (a little pricey).

Disliked: Lots of flies so keep the screens down!!!

Local attractions

If you’d like to mix up your fishing time with some other outdoor activities, plan games of golf at Shrewsbury Golf Club (10 minutes’ drive), hire canoes to paddle along the River Tern (20 minutes) or set off to stroll through the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty – places like Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd (20 minutes) are perennially popular but there are lots of quieter trails to seek out too. Getting to know the area’s history may well start with a trip to Ironbridge (half an hour), home to 10 museums including a tile museum and china museum as well as Blists Hill Victorian Town. On the smarter side of history are country estates including the ruins of Acton Burnell Castle, the gorgeous parkland of National Trust - Attingham Park (20 minutes) and the fortified manor of moated Stokesay Castle (25 minutes). Meanwhile, Shrewsbury (15 minutes) has a museum to visit and a historic town trail to follow.
