What customers say
Lovely, peaceful site with spotless facilities and helpful staff. Great for families and dog walks by the river. Close to Ludlow, but Wi-Fi and phone signal can be weak.

Great location, beautifully maintained.
Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass touring pitch
Liked Great location, access to Shropshire, Worcestershire and Herefordshire all in one. Lots of excellent places to visit and roads ok, apart from chaos in Leominster. Excellent site, beautifully laid out, with great sized pitches and plenty of room for kids to play. Will definitely be back.
Disliked My only gripe is the shower heads - need replacing. Other than that, the facilities are pristine and it would be hard to find a better maintained site.

From the manager: Thank you , agree with you certain shower heads need maintenance we will sort
we look forward to seeing you again .
Very well presented site with clean facilities and private pitches.

Disliked No fresh milk available on site.

From the manager: Thank you, we try to keep long life milk in our small shop for essentials, unfortunately we are not able to stock fresh milk, the nearest shop is 1.5 miles away .

Liked Very friendly staff on arrival.
Lovely clean site. Well maintained.
Very level pitches.
Wifi is very good.
You can also borrow a free view box if your TV reception isn't great (we didn't, but could see how people may benefit from this)
Beautiful river setting right behind the site, with a stretch for fishing and picnics which is owned and maintained by the site.
4 miles to the park and ride for Ludlow.
Disliked There are very high hedges everywhere, we appreciate this provides privacy but it was such a shame, especially knowing the lovely river area was right behind us, but couldn't be enjoyed from the pitches. The hedges also give it a very clinical feel.
Just as a note, there is nothing within walking distance from the site, however Ludlow park and ride is 4 miles away. (driver advised us the service stops at 5.30pm)
Children's play area, although we had no children with us on this visit, the play area is very near the entrance and car parking. Not sure I would bring children to this site, only my personal opinion, but I felt the children's area is an afterthought and has been strategically located to support the peacefulness of the site.

From the manager: Thank you we are pleased you enjoyed your stay. The river side is lovely and is a nice shady spot when its hot. We do have some lovely walks from the park the riverside has a public footpath running through it and visitors enjoy the walk up to the local church. Hedges apart from privacy are host to many nesting birds. The Children's playground has been in situ for at least 30 years , we ask that children are supervised in the playground, our lovely playground is vey popular with our young visitors. the playground is located after our barrier which vehicles have to stop at before passing the playground and a very low speed limit is in place.
Would definitely stay again.
