From the manager: Thank you so much for your wonderful words. It means so much to Rog and I. We try so hard to make sure everyone has a beautiful family time on our new site. The ice cream is amazing and a lovely memory for quality, peaceful happy times, sat under the veranda eating this. Dogs like their ice cream too. It is all the children just simply playing together, their laughter that is always the best moment for me. No hand gadgets to be seen . Xx

Liked: After a break of 4 years since we last camped this was a perfect place to kick start us again. The only issue is we don’t want to go anywhere else now. A wonderful warm welcome with great information on walks and places to eat. A real community intent behind this place and desire to support the area. Very flexible on where you pitch and they really want to ensure your experience is exactly how you want it. All pitches are level. Some of the best facilities we have seen camping. Indoor washing up, plenty of water taps, fantastic warm clean and fresh toilets Ice cream served on site with a great connection with a local takeaway (which was also brilliant, especially when it rains) Wonderful children’s facilities, from sit on tractors, swings, goal and plenty of space for all. They even have a run for your dogs to stretch their legs. They just couldn’t do more for you and made us feel very welcome. You can see they care about what they do and every single visitor. Thanks again and look forward to staying again.
Disliked: Having to go home!

Liked: Lin was very welcoming and when she knew we had a trailer tent she said we could park up on a short stretch of hard standing as the ground was soft. The facilities are excellent, bright and clean. We loved the photos of their cows, it made it feel personal. It was nice to take our dogs to her dedicated dog enclosure. We will certainly go the again, and pass on our experience to our friends. Also we look forward to the cafe and shop is in the process of completing.
