  • Well-maintained Nottinghamshire site 20 minutes' walk from River Trent
  • Gainsborough 10 minutes' drive; Lincoln 35 minutes
  • Secluded pitches across the road from an RSPB reserve
Old Willow Works Camping is a laidback site just over the road from a peaceful RSPB reserve in rural Lincolnshire. Set on the outskirts of the small village of Beckingham, this spot would be well-suited to those looking to explore Lincoln city centre (35 minutes' drive), the Lincolnshire Wolds (40 minutes) and perhaps even the Peak District (an hour from base). This peaceful site usually hosts weddings and events, but there is also a separate large field for overnight stays. The pitches are sheltered by a range of tree species and hedgerows, and all sorts of wildflowers and animals can be spotted here depending on the time of year. Similarly, there are plenty of lovely car-free footpaths and bike trails within easy range, and the River Trent is about 20 minutes' walk away. Old Willow Works Camping is remote enough to allow you to appreciate this area's peace and quiet, but the site is also an easy 10-minute drive from the market town of Gainsborough, where there are supermarkets, shops, cafés, pubs and a railway station. Please note that four-legged friends are not allowed here (even as day visitors) as this is a dog-free site. Please take all litter home with you.
